Resination rattle

Hi all.
I have an annoying rattle that has manifested.
When I am at low rpm in carparks etc I get a buzzing noise just behind the drivers seat around 1200 rpm it's so irritating if I open the driver's door it stops.
I know it's a long shot but one else out there had this issue.

I have also noticed the 1100/1200 rpm rattle. I think it's the plastic cover for the emergency triangle in the boot.

Yea mine is the same in that situation depending on load and rpm. I assumed it was the strut behind the seat or trim. Things like this don't bother me, it's "character".
I always thought I was a bit OCD about car and bike stuff. Then I joined this forum and saw what OCD really is

I too have a rattle, although it's less consistent in terms of rev ranges. As Phil mentioned it sounds to me like it's trim or something around the chassis brace behind the seats.

If anyone finds a fix would love to hear it.

my trunk cover has a tiny rattle. but id rather have the cover on lol. so you can try removing that and see if the rattle is still coming from the trunk area

This can be fixed with a rubber stopper you can get at any hardware store.

I have had successfully fingers crossed sorted the annoying rattle it was the plastic trim behind drivers seat RHD model

Thanks for the follow up, how exactly did you fix it? Is that just something you wedged in there so it didn't vibrate? Can't tell in the photo....

The more I listen I think mine may be the plastics as well, although I'm left hand drive

They are plastic wedges i just pushed them in.
I still have a small resinance rattle but I recon I'm on the right track.
I can live with it now

Awesome, thanks again for the reply. I just pushed on my plastics a bit and the rattle seemed to go away for now. Still some slight rattle from what I believe the hatch privacy cover but it's dramatically reduced.

Look like tiling wedges to me. Available at any hardware store.

Awesome, thanks again for the reply. I just pushed on my plastics a bit and the rattle seemed to go away for now. Still some slight rattle from what I believe the hatch privacy cover but it's dramatically reduced.

I'm glad I could help. I still get it under hard acceleration more of a buzzing but I can live with that. It would piss me off in carparks etc.
