Heard many things about wind effects while driving with the windows down. Anyone had issues? If yes, where to buy?

You don't need to replace the mirror caps to fix this. There are several other ways to fix/remedy this issue if you search the forums.

There are fixes as cheap as 15-20$ up to $100 or more for mirror covers if you want to replace those.

I went with the AWE wind foiler/diffusers myself

The deflectors on the A pillars will do more than any mirror cap replacements. The only caps that will help slightly are the M style ones

I have the AMS ones in CF, wrapped them in 1080 gloss black except for the little fin section to make them nice and stealthy.

The wind buffeting really isn't that bad with windows down, people overexaggerate the issue. The 10$ fix from amazon was enough for me personally.
On a forum? Overexaggerate? I don't believe it.

For the past 1-2 years as I planned to buy a Supra I kept hearing about this buffeting and the horrible injustice Toyota & BMW did to everyone. I had driven in other peoples cars but all of them already had a solution installed.
I even ordered the cheap solution of stick on door guards and brought them with me on the ride to pick up the new car.
Anyway, drive 400 miles home after finally buying the car, and have no idea WTF anyone is on about with this buffeting lol. I have driven cars that were much worse with the windows down than this one. I’m not installing anything on the triangle part of the pillar nor getting new mirror caps as everything is fine.

Just wait until you remove the clutch CDV and the car is instantly transformed from an old WW2 Willeys jeep crash gearbox to a click and snick marvel of gearbox and clutch technology. Funny how it's always the "easy" solutions that anyone can do in their driveway with almost no tools that seem to be the total game changers doesn't it. Changing the shifter knob is another common one no matter what brand you drive. Screw off the old knob screw on the heavier or lighter one (doesn't seem to matter) Game changer! Quite amusing really.

I disagree. The wind buffeting is very noticeable and annoying. Maybe some people are more sensitive to it than others I guess. No one is saying the car is undrivable with the windows down. Also, to be fair, this seems a bit contradictory. If the issue isn't that bad to you, I don't imagine you would've spent money to fix it. The amount of money people spend to solve this doesn't equate to exaggerating the issue imo.

OP, I'm a bit confused - can't you just go test this? Roll down your window on the highway and experience it yourself. If it's not an issue, then no need to spend any money.

I think what he's done is bought the "solution" before the car on the strength of what he's read on this forum then found out it's something not worth worrying about.
Been there done that with other cars. The stuff then ends up in the "sell" threads unused after a while or on ebay. I never buy "must have improvement" these days before owning the car or bike.

You couldn't be more wrong. In certain situations the wind buffeting is so bad that the car is almost undriveable with the windows down. I experienced this on the test drive! Maybe you haven't experienced it yet but it sounds like a helicopter inside the cabin.

Stop spreading misinformation.

My experience was the same…unbearable…noticed the first time I drove it and before joining any chat forums. In fact, I joined this forum when looking for a solution. Just glad it was a cheap fix.

I never said it wasn't there, and was just my opinion on it. My post was rushed while at work, apologies. At speeds above 100 I certainly do notice it, but sounding like a helicopter inside? Yeah, no. Was essentially just trying to say "in my opinion" the $10 amazon fix was enough, but whatever floats your boat.
