Smart phone holder that attaches to vent?

Apps2car looks good, I might consider it, but do u have to glue magnets to the back of my otter box? I’m using the phone for bimmercode /Obd apps.
And as far as proclip $35 + $40 for those two pieces of plastic, although it’s a clean install,$75 is way to much.

~ I also have an otterbox case on my iPhone and have the magnetic plates just laying inside my phone between the cover / phone. The plates come with thin double sided tape if needed. The magnetic plates work well even with the thick phone case.

This is my favorite one which I selected… small not bulky, discrete, stable mount, clean design, doesn’t block the navigation or other controls, close to the drivers view, etc.

I also opted for a black blended short 12” cord for charging while on the magnetic vent mount.

That's the one I have. Works great

Nothing beats ProClip quality, had their A-pillar mount on my previous WRX for the Cobb Accessport, it was sturdy, looked great, and held even in the hardest scenarios. You get what you pay for.

Can’t vouch for ProClip, since I paid $116 on 4/18 and still haven’t received it

same, but I did the research and proclip is the only thing that comes up and meets my requirements of fixed (ball joint shit just gets loose), wireless charging, clean install, and good phone placement (I'm doing mine all the way to the left near the volume button)

$70 being too much for a phone mount idk what to say man. Buy cheap buy twice, I've gone through magnetic mounts, cheap mounts, modified cheap mounts, and proclip was a no brainer purchase even with that price

+1 for this car mount. Use this in my Supra as well and have had no issues with my phone or mount falling even while taking some fast corners

I have a cheap one off amazon that squeezes onto the vent. It held fine through several auto-x runs with jarring brakes and turns.

I really like the magnetic mounts. I use a magbak case and it has a small strip that u place and the phone attaches to it.
