Went to a test and tune last night and ran a best of 11.98 @112.5. I'm a little perplexed by my trap speeds since when I went last Spring I was running 115 and 116 MPH but my best ET then was only 12.29. The air was good both nights so I'm not sure how the car mags are getting 117MPH but I figure I'm close enough that production tolerances may explain it. Or Toyota makes sure they send a "good" car to the mags. Either way I'm happy.

Car was really consistent too. Had four runs of:

12.04 @112.5 1.81 60 ft
11.98 @112.5 1.74 60 ft
12.38 @111.7 2.06 60 ft (tried using the paddles and leaving in 2nd - no bueno - major bog)
12.00 @114.5 1.78 60 ft

I realize the difference between 11.98, 12.0, and 12.04 is maybe an inch or two at the lights but 11.9 sounds so much cooler than 12 flat!

How are you launching? Brake boost in 2nd will get you the best times usually. Mods?
Yes, brake boost. Around 2000 to maybe 21/2200 RPM when leaving in 1st a bit higher when I tried second. No mods. I figure I don't have enough torque for the higher second gear ratio.

What were your 1/8 MPH on previous runs vs these? The difference in trap speeds could be heat-soak depending on how you're managing in the staging lanes -- constant idling vs, on/off. A2W setups can behave counterintuitively; datalogging will tell the story.

Congrats on the 11 -- impressive out of the box either way.

No idea about what they were last Spring. I don't have the slips any longer and I didn't pay attention to it. This trip the speeds were 89.2, 91.6, 91.9 and 89.5. Good? Bad? Average?
