Looks fine to me. Perfect stance. I wouldn't go any lower than that thoughThe car looks significantly lowered. Going over some bumps and uneven-ness, it almost looks like its going to bottom-out. This is one of the mods I'd definitely like to do, but I wonder how much you could lower it before it starts to interfere with daily drivability?
I agree it looks great, but how will it be over the winter-fied roads of northern states and Canada, that warp and buckle and pot-hole due to frost and snow-plow damage?Looks fine to me. Perfect stance. I wouldn't go any lower than that though
On the MKIV, HKS coilovers tend to have softer spring rates. I wouldn't be surprised if it also ported to the MKV.The car looks significantly lowered. My bad, I just look them up. They finally upgraded them on the current model. The previous versions had softer springs.Softer than what? The SP are 14kg/9kg and the GT are much firmer.
Stock is 6/4 iirc?
The SP are a fantastic ride though, the damping is wonderful
No, the kit adds that.Do the stock shocks come with those threads for the aftermarket HKS height adjustment rings?
Such a nice way of doing it. My 180sx has new BC coilovers that are this way too, adjusting them without affecting preload is great. Wish my MKIV Supra Teins were that way, but those are very old nowI upgraded from the hipermax II to the hipermax IV GT and they are a seriously nice bit of work. The struts themselves are sleeved so you don'ty have to adjust spring preload to adjust ride height.
