Probably makes no difference to the sound (though who knows really), but the 2.0 in the US-spec Supra is a B46 not a B48.

There is no B46 Supra, all 2.0's are B48, in USA, EU and JP. Even 190hp Japanesse 2.0 is B48 (yes, they sell sub-200hp Supra in JP).

B46 is said to be lower emission, lower power version of B48, but Im almsot sure I red somewhere deep at bimmerpost the difference is not only the ECU, but also there are mechanical differences between them.

No offense to anyone with the 2.0 as I'm sure they are really light and nimble but dam. I don't think I'm ever going back to a 2.0T. Sound is so important to me. :drive:

I actually quite like the sound of the 2.0. It has a really good tone to it.

Exactly....what he said....

None taken....

I know this is not a good comparison, but have you heard a stock Suzuki 'busa?? Sounds like "Mary Poppins" until you open that thing up and watch it disappear....

I'd record 2.0 with the iKon dual exit from a 3.0 I think it sounds pretty good, actually not loud enough for me.

The 2.0 and 3.0 can use the same exhausts?
Yes the only difference is where it connects to the downpipe. The 2.0 uses a vband style (will need to cut from the stock 2.0 exhaust) and the 3.0 uses a slip on style but are the correct lengths and uses the same mount points and all.
