Supra air conditioning…are you hot?

23 MT, my AC will freeze my hands and face while my back is sweating. I played with the AC up/down temp settings, where AC blows, how hard fan works under auto etc.. and can’t seem to be able to get the air near/behind the seat cool.


Oh and this is all happening with 75f ambient, 69f in car AC setting.


Is it just me or this car has shitty AC circulation paired with seats that don’t breathe at all?

The car is not tinted, I will probably try that next but not sure how much its gonna help.

I feel like the only creature comfort that's missing from the Supra is the lack of cooled/ventilated seats. This will probably be my only gripe when I receive one.

My back gets a little moist on long drives but that happens to me in any car that doesn’t have ventilated seats. I’m usually always cold though.

ac hasn't been turned on in 2 years. Might even remove completely or cannibalize for an intake chill system instead.

I've been okay with my AC on my Supra.. maybe I'm not driving hard enough though as this is my weekend GT car..

I rarely turn on the AC at all. Ive been extremely impressed with how comfortable I am in the car with the system totally off. Now thats probably more of a nod to my tint keeping heat out really well. Frankly I'm more impressed with tint technology now a days.

My Supras AC works great. Will freeze me out on 110° days. The cabin cools off fast too. I honestly dont think I have ever used the max AC button either.

I pretty much always sweat with leather seats. The Alcantara on my base model was better, but I still felt warm. Now that I've put a race seat in, I feel great.

I am in the market for a race seat and if I can solve two issues with it it would be great, as in I would love a race seat that ventilates well on its own.

Ceramic tint on all glass including windshield
AC barely needs to work past 68 and the second fan setting to freeze me

I was quoted 750 for ceramic windshield only....Is that the going rate?

That is insanely high. I have a mobile guy that comes out for all my tint stuff. He is $250-300 for the windshield.

The AC works well in my experience, but the seats are not breathable at all obviously. I would direct the vents away from you and actually get the cabin as cool as you can in terms of temperature rather than relying on the cold air blowing on you. I find when it is blowing on me, my hands and face are freezing while my back is sweating.
