I was in expert mode today looking for other things and did come across it. I didn't try it out but I did see it. You have to use the BMW App to make it work.

Headunit >> Expert Mode >> 3006_Navigation >> Up Top In The Search Icon Look For "Lap" >> M_Laptimer will show up >> Default Value Showed nicht_aktiv (not active)

Did anyone ever figure out if this would work?

Hi folks. I have an Australian Supra that I got a code from eBay seller and activated CarPlay. Does anyone know if doing this interfere with subsequent coding? Thanks very much.

Mission complete. All warning screens off for nav, backup camera and initial startup , seat belt warning off, active sound fake engine off, engine auto off and restart remembers last setting (which will always be deactivated).

i think those were the only settings worth doing

There's one more setting worth doing. Enable daytime screen brightness control. Absolutely essential. Puzzling that this defect slipped through QA with Toyota.

@CarGuy11 hey i was out freezing my my upstate ny garage today staring at my blueberry and just was wondering if you have looked into the exbox expert coding hvac_independant_air when i clicked on it it was aktiv aka active i wonder if it was slected to be not active if it would sync the 2. any thoughts?

I tried this & didn't do anything. It is something that needs changed in a/c ECU not the headunit ECU.

Someone in the general chat told me all 2021 Supras now have access to code in the Body Domain Controller portion of BimmerCode. Is that true? Waiting for my OBD scanner to come in the mail and can't test it out yet. That would be really good since I want the auto seat heating and I want to adjust the side mirror tilt angle.

My car was built in November 2020 so ECU will definitely be locked for tuning.

Used a spare ENET cable and I did have access to the Body Domain Controller and was able to successfully code a few things, including automatic seat heating. Score!

Found something new. Posted in the BimmerCode User Guide Forum:


So apparently BimmerCode had a 50MB “data update” within the app. Was poking around for a min and found a few things. I was using the Z4 Menus btw.

1st in BDC under Expert mode Scroll down to
30D0 RemoteControlMaster ->
RCM_Enable_Remote_Enginestart.
In that menu there are 2 options: Aktiv and Nicht Aktiv. Nicht Aktiv is selected by default.

Also under head unit there are 2 options (I think they’re new)
Start Screen (Not the same as Start Animation) and Service History.

Attached are some pics of what I’m referring to. Question is who will be the one to test it out?
