Dyno done. Did some more tweaking. Weather is not bad 81* and bit humid but that’s Florida.

MHD OTS Stage 2 E40: 426/503
BEF/JB4 Map 5: 460/494
BEF/JB4 Map 6 (custom): 477/565 backed up with a 474/543 (getting warm) custom map got us another 17rwhp and 70lbft of tq!

Thank you @ColonelAdama for all your help, Javi at Midnite Tuning in Pinellas and Terry at Burger!

That’s about max with the current setup without doing meth or port injection, bigger turbo etc. car is still just downpipe and intake with some fuel and a tune.

The 2020’s average around 320rwhp factory stock so 155rwhp gain isn’t to shabby and 200lbs more of torque is bonkers.

Every Dyno is different, weather, settings, etc Seeing consistent gains on the same Dyno makes me happy. This is a Dynojet fyi.

Graph from the last pass.

+50 whp over MHD E40 OTS is a great accomplishment! Well done.

Low end spool looks normal now too. 18+ by 3500.

Initial map made 463/535 actually he moved the boost targets up then lowered FF down to 45 and duty down to keep trailing under the target. Riding on target causes throttle closures when it starts to over boost so he said you move target up a bit with JB4 and slow it down a bit on the wastegate to lower overall boost below the target and then boost stays up and consistent.

these were the best runs in this config everything made in the 463/464 520’ish tq. then he did this setup and it went 474 and 477 with 565tq and when we overlayed the graph it made more power by a good bit from 3-6k then just started to taper at the end. We did trade more power throughout the curve with this setup as it does slide just down to the first map between 6-7k at the top end but it was way stronger 3-6k with more tq.

I tried to upload a pic but now it says the file is too big

This was Dyno run 1 map 6 custom 463/520 ish if I recall

https://datazap.me/u/phantomx2k/dyno-run-1-3-1?log=0&data=1-4

basically like you said. He kicked up the targets and lowered duty he said if I want to move the boost line closer to the target raise FF a couple but it’ll might make a bit more but end up with throttle closures and pulling power if I want to move the boost line lower below target slow FF by like 2. It’s at 45 right now and some tweaks to Duty to fix the issue I have around 4500.

Got some good news for my MT people coming soon... ;)

Newest firmware I'm testing for Terry (BMS) has gotten additive boost control working nicely. If you were catless/high-flow+JB4+MT , you should know additive doesn't work at all... Still tweaking a few things on my end to adapt to the new firmware, but I have a good feeling that JB4 will be viable for MTs very soon. Some people may say 2 weeks? 😂

So after providing Terry at BMS that feedback today, he is planning to incorporate an "MT supra" mode in the next official JB4 firmware version.

ie: flip one of the "options" bits under user-adjustable to change the wastegate control behavior to better suit this car (what I've been testing and refining for months)

Hope for more good news soon. Anyone else on here MT+JB4 that is having issues and want to try this MT-specific un-released firmware? I want to see if the solution I implemented is repeatable.

wouldn't hurt to try! In theory, with EWG harness disconnected, it should behave exactly like your JB+, but with logging capability and safeties.

just in case we can't get it working to your liking.
