Just saw all your logs, Map 0, 1 , and 2. I can definitely say you are quite octane deficient. Even stock has timing corrections. You said this was 93, so that's pretty disappointing. Would recommend filling up at a different pump next time.

Of course if you have any ethanol around, it would also fix this.
Did a 1:3 ratio at my local e85 station. It's usually around e60-70 according to my flex sensor in my other car, so probably ~e15 blend. The ignition graphs look much better now, thanks for the suggestion @ColonelAdama

both look great.

@Motts , you can turn FF up by 1

@Kevo , lets make another duty revision to get closer to target again

Hello, new to the forums, but had the car for almost a year now. Just got my JB4 installed a week or so ago. Can anyone please help take a look at this log, also let me know what I should be looking for here (as in good to go for the next map), in my eyes it seems fine. This is map 1, everything is stock on the car except intake (MST). Thanks!

EDIT: I am running 93 atm.

For most of the first pull, and pretty much all of the second pull, your jb4 isn't even activating wastegate control because your foot isn't all the way down. If FF and WGDC are flat lines at 50 - it's not doing anything.

Because of this, your boost curve is pretty much line-on-line with dme_bt (the ECU's boost target). The JB4 is basically not adding any boost. The second pull here is deceiving - it looks like it's adding boost, but the throttle is mostly closed. and therefore boost2 (what's actually in the intake manifold) is still tracking dme_bt.

try a pull from 3k or below all the way to redline, in 3rd or 4th gear. foot all the way down, include a shift if you'd like.

Thanks, I'll try that, need to find a nice road out in the boonies for this, so I'll see if I can better logs tomorrow.

Stick with Map 2, but drop FF to 40 and try out these duty settings that I run (also catless)

Few Map 2 logs with above adjustments (screenshot below). Felt even better and much more dialed in like stock/pre DP - thank you!

Almost certainly the JB4 exhaust flap control is opening on cold start. Whereas OEM mode keeps valve closed until cold start is finished.

Glad I could help!
It was the exhaust valve being open vs. closed on cold start - thanks again!

its not bad, but car is wanting to run a lot of boost, hurting timing a bit. Want to try out Map 4? Some cars prefer absolute mode.

Remember to set FF to 40 after switching maps.
