I'm fine with questions and some commentary based on what I've said, but you guys can post your speculation and the arguments over it in the other threads.

Just a suggestion but because the details changed so much from the time this thread was created, it might be wise to start a new one where you provide a new list of things you assume will become reality based on the information you hear. It would also be nice if you made it clear that this is just info you are hearing that may or may not translate into the final product so people don’t take your word as set in stone. I think this will make things easier on everyone, just my opinion.

A70, an article (i think it was CAR) made the claim that they'd heard the MKV might be built in a Toyota factory instead of at Magna Steyr. This seems incredibly unlikely to me...have you heard anything to indicate that a Toyota plant was ever a consideration?

it was 100% Magna when I was still on the project, so I'd say that is very unlikely, especially given it's a modified bmw chassis.

I figured I could at least throw out that the car was testing with more power than it originally had during my tenure (not going to throw the exact figure or drop anything further though).

They insist the weight is still around 1400kg as well.
