The absolute cheapest Intake Manifold I could find online, want some thoughts on it if anyone has tried or even seen it before.

i asked Burger and they confirmed it phoenix, tey have a ton og other Phoenix stuff on their website as well. Phoenix has 3 types, CNC, Cast and half CNC, half cast,, so I'm not sure which one Butger is selling.
It might be made by Phoenix, but it's not listed on the Phoenix website anywhere.

Phoenix has more than 3 types, I listed them above in my post, you can see it on their website.

For clarity sake since this thread has anything but... it seems you are using the $1800 alibaba manifold that Fuel-it/Burger/KingTec sells, which is nothing like the $900 manifold the OP created this thread about. Yet you claimed you are using the same thing.

I truly don't understand why posting actual clear things is hard for a lot of people on this website. It creates so much noise and confusion.

This thread has shown me the people who think they know stuff actually don’t, vs people who just don’t know what they are posting. Without actual pressure drop differences from one side of the intake to the other, everyone is just guessing that it sucks. Chances are, in that aspect of things, it’s just fine with that lump built in. Everything else about it might suck though.
You're right, I’ll concede I went overboard with the dramatic warnings for theater. Can’t prove the pressure delta, turbulence, or flow separation.............. but I’d still argue that plenum geometry isn’t something I’d call irrelevant

So, to finish this lovely afternoon finale hour, lol, of the “cheaper” versions that appear decent versus the more expensive counterparts, which manifold do we recommend for mainly drag versus recommend for circuit at this point giving value to dollar. @razorlab @omfgzilla

I'll settle this once and for all........ so we can send this thread past the event horizon and on its way to page 50

This changes everything! So I've emailed Wagner's official marketing team 2 weeks ago, and they were very responsive and replied with the following

"Vielen Dank für Ihre Anfrage. Dieses Produkt wird in 2 Wochen erhältlich sein."
I can't read German, but this sounds promising and I'm super excited.

That was five years ago. Not happening.

I wanted to follow up because I finally made a decision. I mean I said I would but I got rid of the cheap eBay one and got a Wagner intake manifold for a good price. I am going to run it, and if I am still disappointed with temps, I will sell and finally bite the bullet on an EOS.

Oh yeah........... this plenum is totally acceptable for OP's 800hp build on a 2port stock block with 0 risk.

Because the DME magically tracks individual cylinder AFRs and doesn't just average everything from a single O2 sensor, right?
High velocity air inside an obstructed plenum definitely causes 0 turbulence....... yep.
I'm sure the air mass entering the cylinders definitely won't vary from cycle to cycle. All 6 will be fed evenly and cooled effectively. 100%... Air is smoothly traveling the entire length of that plenum.

Oh yeah, I'm sure that indent at cylinder 6 won't mess with the port injection spray pattern, and that ingesting pooled, unatomized droplets won't trigger a super knock event.
I mean, what could possibly go wrong? Finding out the entire block is a throwaway after scraping the wall with metal shrapnel from a blown ringland? Nothing quite like throwing away a whole motor just to save a few hundred bucks on a Wish.com intake manifold

What's inaccurate, the photo or your ability to process visual information?

I appreciate the info and these analysis is what helped to drive my decision to upgrade it before continuing my build. This was the point of this thread, to basically pull apart why it’s bad and why it might not be that bad. The cons outweighed the positives.
Technically, 99% of the manifolds have that inner hump because of the oil filter access design. That said, some are obviously not thought through as well and come into the airflow more than others. Here is a Wagner (a manifold I have shared a ton of data around) for reference:

As usual, I'm seeing a lot of talk and trustmebroisms in this thread, and next to no data.
The design helped me choose to go with Wagner for the current time, and if it disappoints I will jump over to EOS. But for my current power goals I think it can accomplish considering my climate as well.

Let's break this down, since you're new to the internet

-I tell OP in the beginning, either choose a Wagner or EOS since both are proven
-You defend OP's manifold with a massive secondary indent on the plenum and said, "There is no reason to return it, it works."
-I sarcastically erred on the side of caution with certain concerns, and possible issues.
-You then asked a godzilla avatar, shitposting burner-account "What do you do for a living? lol" your mic-drop moment was supposed to be "I own a shop," "we have data," "we have world records"

The following posts proceeded with......
-No data
-No data
-No data
-A possible picture of OP's manifold that I can barely make out.
-No data
-No data
-Razorlab with data
-No data
-No data
-No data

I despise Instagram marketing but forced myself to look through that page of slop and THIS was all I could find to see if it was OP's manifold.

I genuinely want to give you the benefit of the doubt here.
We are talking about the OP's specific manifold, correct?
You aren't just confused and are talking about "Chinese manifolds" in general, right?
Because there are some very good Alibaba manifolds out there.
We are specifically talking about the OP's specific manifold that has a specifically large secondary indent on the plenum............and as a shop owner and a CFD expert, you are completely fine with installing that on your customers cars at that very high horsepower level?

Anyways, I've had my fun. I'll be waiting for the marketing or damage control data that he'll post one day.......... but hopefully this is the start of razorlab's comeback lol
Don’t worry, i followed the advice provided. I was content with Wagner’s performance even though it is the greatest, but their build is definitely higher. I did want to make a proper choice before I finished up my build and this provided a lot of info. I do appreciate it as this helps me even if no one else takes anything else from it.

I had the feeling there was some type of confusion going on between us. I apologize my dude.
I looked at the Phoenix Racing manifold, and it looked almost the same, but that massive indent is practically gone and that plenum looks a lot more smooth.
Does OP have the first-gen prototype? This is a headache to find perfect photos of these Alibaba manifolds. Do you have any photos of them with better angles?

Unfortunately nope, I returned it. That eBay listing is all I have now.
