I'm getting Carrera GT vibes from this

IMO, I don't think Porsche is feeling any pressure from Toyota about the 2021 Supra even with the HP increase. Porsche is so far ahead of Toyota that it's not even a comparison. The 6 cyl Supra was compared against the 718 4 cyl turbo. With Toyota being so secretive about a potential GT4 model that it's only hurting them. The longer you take, the longer you get left behind. Not even a mention of a street GT4 that go against the street Porsche GT4. Rubbish!https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.ca...8-spyder-pdk-dual-clutch-automatic-available/
This is why I question if the Supra can keep up with the Cayman. If Porsche links the Supra is a legitimate threat, they can/will update the next year and Iām not sure if Toyota/BMW will be so quick to update.
They most definitely arenāt threatened by Toyota right now. The further up in performance they go, the more a FR inline 6 hurts the Supra since a mid mounted flat 6 has a higher ceiling.IMO, I don't think Porsche is feeling any pressure from Toyota about the 2021 Supra even with the HP increase. Test drive one! You'll be blown away. The 6 speed on the previous GT4 was very crisp, throws were short and the shift was bolt-action. The updated PDK... impressive.
