Did you pick up any noticeable power and if so do you feel in in every day driving?

I ran the AA catted on a stock car (at the time). I have no objective evidence, but I think I picked up more than just a little. Nothing major, but it wasn't like dropping an air filter in. Could have been the vrrrrrrrrrrrrwwwwwwwaaaaaaaahhhhhhh, though.

Less back pressure and heat is always a good thing. I really didn't want to modify my engine in any way... But pretty much the only driving my car will see is at the track. I figure if I'm going to be beating on it for 20 minutes at a time, a downpipe might not be a bad idea.
I don't expect any power gains, though.

A freer flowing DP is objectively superior for the health of your turbo. Try choking yourself and then breathe, same deal pretty much.
With a jb4 psi went from 5 at 2kish to 18psi at 2kish. DP really lets the turbo spool quickly.

Biggest difference for me, on a purely stock car (then), was between 2000-3500 rpm. It’s noticeable but modest.

You are so much smarter than I am.
I live in CA and am too old/lazy to play the CARB/smog game. A DP should keep the car happy and I don't mind only swapping that for smog. As much fun as I have modifying cars (I get that fix with a different car), it's really nice to have one that's fast enough that I don't have to. Every time I drive this thing, I'm amazed by how quick it is. Torque is addicting.

The downpipe will add 10-15 whp without a tune. Should be a noticeable increase in power and responsiveness

I have a 2021 car with the AA downpipe and everything else stock. I can't say I've noticed anything discernable power wise, although it's been hot AF in TX this summer so maybe the butt dyno will say something different as it cools down.

TBH, it hasn't even really done much in terms of sound either, at least from inside the cabin. Pops and crackles are maybe little more pronounced, but not drastically so. I was hoping to avoid having to get a catback, but that seems unavoidable.

Interesting I put on the AMS Catted not to long ago and can definitely hear the difference from the stock DP. Still gonna go HKS catback next though.

personal testing show 13hp on a stock 2021 with the AA catted, but with the jb4 turned back on, it actually made 27hp more then before, so tune helps, on its own its minor, but feels quicker forsure

I was actually surprised at how subtle adding this downpipe was with the stock exhaust as well, which may be a benefit for some.

I have AA catted downpipe on stock car - its a nice safe mild upgrade all around - feels a little quicker spool up, little more power, sound is deeper, little louder, more pops and bangs. Nothing crazy, no noise complaints from neighbors or issues with inspection. I may get HKS cat back at some point just to amp things up a little more
