Hello all, I just picked up a used Tomei single exit for my 3.0 supra and The exhaust did not come with the clamps or springs. (I bought it used) I do have the clamp that goes over the muffler for the rear where it goes into the exhaust hanger. My question is does anyone know which clamps and springs i need for the rest of the exhaust? Thank you all

Would this work?https://www.amazon.com/Emotor-Unive...ix=3.5+inch+exhuast+clamp,aps,273&sr=8-5&th=1

Those clamps will dent the exhaust. Use these clamps, get the 83mm clamps for the rear section and 70mm for the downpipe section. LINK

They are similar to the Tomei clamps but use a bronze nut which is better to reduce galling of the threads.

Springs you can find from most motorcycle shops, or you can use safety wire until you find the correct length

Pic attached showing a 4” downpipe to a modified Tomei with the bottle neck removed and opened up to 4”. We added a spring and using the same clamp I linked above.

Why would the Amazon clamps dent the exhaust?
Note: I cancelled my order and bought different clamps ones that look like those. Where it connects to the dp is 3.25 inch and the rear connection to muffler is 3.5 inches so I bought these. https://a.co/d/2qkkHzS
And these https://a.co/d/bLoant2
Oh and for the springs I found some that are 3.25 inches while the gap is 4.0 I think I can stretch them that remaining .75 inches

hoping a praying these work.

The ones you linked should work, may not hold up long term since the nut utilizes a nylon lock nut which will melt with prolonged use. Also Stainless on Stainless will also be prone to galling. If you’re gonna use those keep extra around.

I’ve had my tomei single exit for a year and I never put on the springs. Not issues for me

Hey did you ever figure it out? I’m in the same boat buying a used tomei and it doesn’t have any clamps. I got the dual exit if that matters at all
