Top speed runs so far on the road. (Sorry, no Track numbers)

I've owned my 3.0 GR for 2 years now and have performed no performance mods.
My last top speed run was 136 mph on I95 in SC last year. Well I just topped it on the Bayside bridge running from Clearwater to St. Pete. 140mph. The car still had 2 gears and was smooth as silk. Felt very stable and confident. I backed off with a huge smile on my face.

I've done 148 on track without pregnant women driving to work in the morning that are half asleep because their farts have been keeping them up all night, or families on their way to their creepy uncles cabin in the woods, or a single mother driving to their shitty job at a breakfast diner to help support their kids schooling.

I did that speed without endangering any of them.

Hit 155 on the highway, still had some juice in 6th. Passed a sheriff... hit the brakes (I didn't see him it was 0545 on my way to work, he was in the outermost lane) I see his lights come on. I slow down, he then proceeds to get up next to me...nods his head with disappointment, turns off his lights and pulls away from me...

Maybe you've been lucky or live in different part of AZ. Every time I'm in AZ I see Mustang cops and whatnot busting people.
