Toyota free track day and NASA membership

Anyone not sign up for their free NASA membership and/or track day? If so, what were your reservations or reasons?

I took advantage of this when I acquired my 2020 Supra. Got another with my 2023 but haven't done anything with it yet. I'll probably wait for spring ... and maybe a little more tuning and tweaking.

The Florida NASA chapter was great! They flipped me to the HPDE3 (can pass anywhere) group after one run. Just talk to your local chapter prior to that free track day

was a nasa member before Supra. Already hpde3 and open pass.


But it is a GREAT opportunity for new owners and absolutely should be taken advantage of. I probably shouldn't have responded to thread but you asked I Sound a bit DB-y (why my mom says i never had any friends)

I got mine about a month after I picked up the car and received a booklet in the mail a couple of weeks after that.

It was a bit meh but I'm glad I did it, just to meet some of my fellow Supra owners in the area. The other thing I enjoyed was the hot lap by the instructor. I'm never a passenger in my own car when it's being driven 10/10ths and it was neat.

Be careful guys I did my first track day ever in February with my car stock in HDPE 1 and became extremely addicted now my car is stripped and I waste all my money at the race track running time trials ... 10/10 would recommend 100%

we had many students and not a single one had bad time as far as I know. if you are advanced, all you have to do is email / talk to local NASA chapter organizer or call toyota to change group. for more info, see my sig in the bottom.

it's a worthless incentive here in hawaii.
there are no road courses.
i would give my free track day to anyone on this forum if i could.....
