is it just my eyes or is that the front fender vent peaking beneath the side view mirror?

In some photos it looks proportioned correctly, and in others it appears to be almost smushed, almost as if should be slightly wider and longer. Likes those Pontiac commercials from back in the day, wider is better lol.

Also is it safe to say this I appears to be the Spec-A or base model?

Was thinking about the same thing.
Front looks aggressive.
Rear looks perfect.
Side looks sleek.
2/3 view looks like the window side profile was cut with a knife and that there is no rear boot, giving a rather bad design... But its because of the body size limitations. After all lets not forget its a 2 seater Z4 roadster platform.
* Also note in the angle below! Front nose F1-style "bump" is not as intense as most renders speculated due to the misleading heavy camo. It is rather smooth.

But generally it looks much better than i expected.

I think I see brembo Calipers up front so I'd assume it's the higher end model
