You sir are a mind reader, i was just think Whatever happen to your install today! This is good to hear there is a noticeable improvement. Did you notice any increase in vibration in the cabin, and how hard was the install?
No noticeable difference in cabin vibration. Install is technically easy, just an awkward space to work in unless you have smaller hands.

These seem promising - can anyone report if there is an increase in NVH when doing both the front and rear?

I have both front and rear. No NVH increase.

Car feels more planted while launching.

Yea they should not increase NVH at all.

Completed rear diff service today.
The Verus scoop will need to be cut/modified to clear the mounting points for the brace.
thats great info

I've been looking for the torque specs for those bolts.

I searched for BMW differential braces and only found ones from EOS, BMS and Turner.

Interestingly, all BMW differential braces are only the rear one-piece. None of them include the two-piece front brackets like the Twisted Tuning one for the Supra.

Here's the F-series brace instructions I found:

http://bd8ba3c866c8cbc330ab-7b26c6f...rive_Rear_Differential_Brace_Installation.pdf

Only Turner provided .pdf instructions with torque specs, but that was for the F-series. Although, there are similarities to ours as the vibration damper has the same bolt (E12 Torx) and location. That bolt requires 22 ft-lbs based on those instructions which is right along with the 21 ft-lbs on the Toyota Workshop Manual.

The bolts on either side of the lower part of the differential call for 66 ft-lbs, but there is no comparative torque spec for the BMW or Toyota T55 Torx bolts.

Has anyone just installed the rear brace? What torque specs did you use?

Hopefully the vendor answers our question on his own thread this time instead of ducking the question in the other thread he was active in

We haven't published an actual installation manual yet, as the install is very straight forward in itself. But below are the torques specs.

TORQUE SPECS:

Rear Diff Brace Bolts (Upper/Lower) - 70ft/lbs, 95nm
Front Diff Mount Braces Bolt (Upper) - 20ft/lbs, 27nm
Front Diff Mount Braces Nut (Lower) - 74ft/lbs, 100nm

also now posted in the first post at the bottom. i'll eventually get around to published the install

Thank you so much for the specs, Justin!

Yes, the install appears pretty straight forward, especially from other videos on BMW rear diff braces.

Any @Twisted Tuning Black Friday deals coming up? :hmm:
