What percentage of 2026 production will be this special edition? I wonder how much it's going to reduce the regular Premium 3.0 model production numbers.

There's going to be 1300.
300 each of the standard gloss red, white and black,
200 each of the matte black and white.

I put in for a matte black GT4 package.

I absolutely love my Refraction Blue A91, and I've enjoyed 4 great years with it. The next one will undoubtedly be a hybrid whatever and I'd rather get the latest MKV before they're gone, and even though we can't get the real FE, the matte black is still unique like the Refraction Blue.

I'm guessing the ratio of AT vs MT will be 50% for each color so I told them I'm fine with either, as long as it's matte black.

So we'll see what happens.

My GR Corolla Circuit Edition will be 4 years old when the new Special Edition drops, so I told them I'm interested in that one too. It'll look wicked with the fender and hood vents with the larger spoiler.
That color will be sick! If I didn’t have so many extra parts on mine I’d probably do the same. Or if I could afford to add another 2 seater to our stable. Man I hope you share a bunch of pics when you do get it ?

i clicked through the pages and didn't see anyone willing to post a breakdown, so i will, for anyone eyeing this specific edition. in addition to the cosmetics/"downforce" no one cares about:

  • "differential control and exclusive control maps" i guess refined sport traction mode,
  • larger Brembo brake discs,
  • refined suspension,
  • refined chassis,
  • -30mm/-0.5° knuckles (probably),
  • revised dampers (seemingly actual part, not just EDC tuning),
  • "stronger" (thicker?, solid?) front sway bar,
  • strengthened rubber bushings for front control arms & mounts for rear subframe,
  • "stronger" under-body brace,
  • and supposed "optimized"/tuned power steering.
price: $67,950 or $69,085

the 45th Ann was $65,275 or $66,370... so.............

I hope so. Nothing is certain until it's in my garage ?

Kind of funny to put into perspective that Z fanboys have been paying 15-20K+ extra for their Nismo Editions with a modest body kit, seats, slightly different exhaust, and 5% power bump for 20 years now. Guess this is how it feels, except most Supra owners know the markup isn't actually very worth it.

i meant to take a photo when I had a visual front perspective of them and the wheels.

They look quite different from mine with a double height section laterally and a more aggressive curve to the middle of the car.

imo this resembles the outline contour of a NACA duct and i would understand if these funnels more air under-pressure to the center of the car and also away on both sides of the front tires.

this would reduce lift and drag on the front of the car.

with the rear spoiler reducing rear lift, overall, this version of the car could have a better balance front and rear aerodynamically and i would imagine the engineers would want a more stable car overall that addresses the feeling and concerns of unpredictableness or rear end stability especially with a hp and torque bump!

this would be what i’m interested in when modifying or upgrading my supra
Here's the screenshot showing the front wheel spats ... I think they look larger than the current spats. What do you guys think?

Coming off the second I get the car. "If" I get an allocation.

The side ones, the bottom ones look the same.

Yea --- those are different

Japanese "Partially Upgraded"
"Aerodynamic modifications, including a ducktail carbon fibre rear spoiler, front wheel arch flaps, and higher front tire spats further enhance handling, optimizing front/rear aerodynamic balance and downforce"

https://media.toyota.ca/en/releases...in-the-toyota-gr-supra-mkv-final-edition.html

"new 19-inch matte black wheels"

The tires are 10cm larger and if the "new [] wheels" have a new offset such that the effective track is wider, then I can understand the need for the "front wheel arch flaps" to reduce front end lift - this would, imo, likely improve front end feel, too.

You guys are conflating the two different regions FE's. The one we get do not have wider tires.

The real Final Edition that we do not get:

"Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 high-grip tires that are 10 mm wider have been used Front: 265/35ZR19 Rear: 285/30ZR20"

I actually watched the video I think in one of the other threads on this car for the US edition and I remember the guy going over everything. Specifically I do remember him talking about the tires and them using the exact same size for our (US) FE as well
