Just out of curiosity, have you tried disconnecting and reconnecting the battery after like 10 mins?
Good to know. That is my plan for now, once I raise it up a bit. Settled a bit lower than I thought it would, and needs just a bit more height.

No. Thought about it but after I fully cleared the code with BimmerLink and it came back I didn’t think that would help.
She’s in the shop now.

Took mine back to the shop today and they pulled the history of the codes, Same as yours. Front left sensor. They checked for any damage but everything looked okay. So they cleared it, ran it a bit, checked it again and nothing new popped up. I was hoping it was actually broken so I knew what to fix. This car is annoying

Well, time will tell. Shop raised the car 3/4 inch, and did a full code scan and test of the ride height sensor. Sensor passed tests, with no issues. they double-checked wiring to the sensor, no damage. They cleared all codes and said that maybe the ride hight was a touch too low and it was causing the sensor plausibility reading.

No charge for any of the work, so I'm not going to complain. Happy to build a relationship with a quality shop/team that will dedicate time and resources and not charge me and arm and a leg to troubleshoot.

See my post above... basically the same thing. I sometimes miss my analog Miata.

You raised it 3/4" of an inch? How much lower than stock was it?

Picture below was day of installation. Less than a finger off the front tire. Front tire is 275/30/19. Springs installed a month ago settled more than expected after 2k miles on the road. She’s back where I want her now. If needed I can go back to stock height.
I will get it dialed in eventually.

Glad you got her fixed! I‘ve been back at stock height for a while. I believe Brian is also close to stock height. It was something he suggested to me a long time ago and I can honestly say I’ve had no issues once going back.
