I hope this is the right sub-forum for this, if not please moderators feel free to move it to the right place.
Alright, unfortunately I feel like I have to write this to warn others about the possibility of going through the same experience I had when ordering from Remnant Performance.
I originally decided to buy from them because of the very good reputation they seemed to have here. Honestly, I was excited to order from them. But something definitely is different now.

I ordered an Omega 65 turbo and an RP Gamma Intake Manifold for a total of $6,835.
At first, everything seemed fine. After placing the order, he even called me to confirm and correct a small detail. During that call, I was told it would take no more than 2 weeks because everything was supposedly in stock. Their website also states a 2 to 3 week lead time.

So I waited.

After 4 weeks, I sent a polite email saying I understood he was busy and had school and other responsibilities, and that I was not trying to pressure him. I simply wanted an estimated ETA so I could update my installer and tuner. No response.
A week later I sent another polite follow up. No response again.
Then I sent a third email and even a forum message (which I noticed later that he had not been active there since late 2025) Still no response.
Finally, after 6 weeks, I sent a message through Instagram and then I received a reply that said:

“I am waiting on your intake manifold to come in. Sorry for the delay in reply. I was traveling a lot last week and was mostly out of office.”

That was it...

No ETA. No real apology for the complete lack of communication. No update after being weeks late. Just that he had been traveling???
I replied politely again asking if he had any estimated timeline I could give my installer and tuner. No response.
The next day I followed up once more, again respectfully, asking if there was anything at all I could tell my mechanic regarding timing. No response again.

At that point today, I finally said that this situation was getting too far, that I had been very patient and understanding, but if this could not be resolved I would have to cancel the order.
Then suddenly, within one minute, I received a response saying:

“I will cancel your order and refund you.”

Very professional.

I honestly do not know what is happening with him or with the company, but this is not the right way to handle customers, especially on an order of this size.
I know they built a strong reputation over the years, and that reputation is the reason I chose to buy from them in the first place. That is why this whole experience has been so surprising and honestly pretty disappointing.

Strong reputation? Like... TX2K-level reputation? His intake manifold appears to be heavily "inspired" by the EOS single-pass design. I wonder where he got that idea from... I'm sure it had nothing to do with zrk's help. You don't really know what radiator core he is using either. The turbo itself is a Garrett knockoff, and from what I can tell, he is relatively new to the B58 platform compared to other established companies.

The only new player in turbocharger technology that I've seen with an arguably strong reputation is Apex Turbos.

I'll be honest, just skip the hybrids. Spend the extra money on quality. Garrett, Borg Warner, Apex, Xona, or Precision. You're free to pick whichever brand fits your build. Free to pick whichever size fits your power goals. A 2-port exhaust manifold will be cheap and easy to fab from any competent welder or shop. Free to choose between V-band or twin-scroll. Free to choose between an external wastegate or the OEM internal gate. You're free to choose between a top or bottom mounted design, as long as you verify there are no fitment issues.

Well, yes, maybe it was a bit too much, but still he has a good reputation and normally liked by people here as someone that does his best to do things right normally.
Thanks for the explanation, but I am not ready to go out that far with the turbo. Maybe in the future?

Thats too bad, he should post updates with delays on their website. Ghosting customers is bad business for sure. Time to go Tried and true Pure800 or 900.

Remnant customer here... I have both the turbo kit and the intake manifold.

The products themselves work great. I've been running my setup for over a year, basically daily driven, with no issues. However I will say that Alec is not good at timelines which is very frustrating. He tends to give overly optimistic estimates rather than just being blunt and telling you it might be awhile. I experienced something similar to the OP when I ordered my intake manifold, 2 weeks turned into about 2 months. And I ordered the V2 turbine housing to put on before I retune my car with my built trans, that was about 4 weeks ago and I was told a week and a half.

To his credit, I believe he's got some personal stuff going on right now that I won't get into. But again, before everyone bashes too hard, the products work great from my experience. He's been very helpful to me anytime I had questions when assembling everything and even covered the cost of a hose I ended up replacing, sight unseen.

Yes, I already got a Pure 800 and a Wagner Tuning manifold. Hopefully will get here in a couple of weeks.

I believe he is running his whole company all by himself which can result in delays like this. I’ve only heard good things about the turbo and manifold and he seemed to be very communicative on facebook as well.

Yes, that is the kind of review that got me into trying to buy from him. But unfortunately, it didnt work.
I wish him the best since it seesm he is really trying, but it is dangerous to buy something and then not know if in the future you are going to have tons of problems when you need support for it.

Hopefully the other stuff you got comes in quickly. Wagner is also a great option!

I second this. same timing issue however Alec really does try hard. He's been in my dm's helping me at 8am, 2PM and midnight, weekends too.

The product has been pretty reliable. I did 15K miles on the V1 with a few surprise WG adjustments, but this is a weekend car for me and all miles are HARD miles most of them north of 30PSI (up ot 35 psi)
