How did the install go for the radiator cover? I installed mine yesterday and the wire wouldn't fit through the clips.

Got the car running after full remnant performance gamma system install and put in my base map from twisted tuning. Just gotta let the weather get better and brake in my transmission before doing any pulls.

Took matters into my own hands because I don't trust dealers. Full reprogramming and update of all systems via ISTA.

Can you explain what this really means for the layman?

He’s going to update the puter and not let the certified Supra oil changing “mechanics“ 🐒 ruin his car.

ISTA is the same software tool that the dealers use to update systems in the car. Same as when they perform software update recalls (like the brake recall). I just did it all in the comfort of my own garage.

level of difficulty? something i've been wanting to do as well..

oh. did you refer to this thread?

Actually pretty simple. You download ISTA and Techstream from the website links outlined in that thread. You pay for a license. You can get a couple days, a month or a year. Make sure you have a +70amp charger (not a trickle charger) set to constant 13.5v and then use a laptop to connect to the car via ENET cable. Then follow the step by step in with ISTA software, which is very straight forward.

One thing to note is you need to have the OEM seats in the car so ISTA doesn't get pissed not seeing the seat modules. I had to reinstall both my OEM seats to do the updates. This was actually the hardest part of the process as it was actual physical labor. ;)
