thank you! My son and I had a great day installing everything. The worst part was the lights.Hot damnnnnnnn
She’s almost too purdy to drive
Love this.Took matters into my own hands because I don't trust dealers. Full reprogramming and update of all systems via ISTA.
How did the install go for the radiator cover? I installed mine yesterday and the wire wouldn't fit through the clips.Made a few updates:
NVS Carbon Fiber ECU Cover
NVS Carbon Fiber Radiator Cover
NVS Carbon Fiber Cubby
HKS Carbon Fiber Intake
Downstar Stage 1 Engine Hardware
A90Mods F1 Light
OEM Plus Heritage Tail Lights
Streethunter High Kick Rear Lip Spoiler
Weathertech Floor and Trunk Mats
Can you explain what this really means for the layman?Took matters into my own hands because I don't trust dealers. Full reprogramming and update of all systems via ISTA.
Damn that‘s beautiful 🥲Took matters into my own hands because I don't trust dealers. Full reprogramming and update of all systems via ISTA.
He’s going to update the puter and not let the certified Supra oil changing “mechanics“ ruin his car.Can you explain what this really means for the layman?
level of difficulty? something i've been wanting to do as well..Took matters into my own hands because I don't trust dealers. Full reprogramming and update of all systems via ISTA.
I used a trim tool to pry the tabs up from the side very carefully..How did the install go for the radiator cover? I installed mine yesterday and the wire wouldn't fit through the clips.
ISTA is the same software tool that the dealers use to update systems in the car. Same as when they perform software update recalls (like the brake recall). I just did it all in the comfort of my own garage. Can you explain what this really means for the layman?
Actually pretty simple. You download ISTA and Techstream from the website links outlined in that thread. You pay for a license. You can get a couple days, a month or a year. Make sure you have a +70amp charger (not a trickle charger) set to constant 13.5v and then use a laptop to connect to the car via ENET cable. Then follow the step by step in with ISTA software, which is very straight forward.level of difficulty? something i've been wanting to do as well..
oh. did you refer to this thread?

One thing to note is you need to have the OEM seats in the car so ISTA doesn't get pissed not seeing the seat modules. I had to reinstall both my OEM seats to do the updates. This was actually the hardest part of the process as it was actual physical labor.
