What did you do to your Supra today?

[Sam B]

Wing looks great. I’m on the fence because I have a refraction w the duckbill installed from Toyota and don’t wanna see holes. Can you use that wing w the a91 duckbill

[Sam B]

got my Seibon MB wing installed, super happy with it. @Jesse DaBears got this thing to my front door in record time, highly recommend????

What lip kit are you running

What lip kit are you running

i *think* you can, but don’t quote me! As to the lip kit, i’ve got Suvneer skirts/spats, and the APR splitter up front

[NJA90]

Installed Carbon fiber interior vent strips. Made a custom sticker and flag to add some personal touch to it

[PikkaGTR]

Got the car back from getting XPel full front end PPF and entire car ceramic coated
turned out very good and I am surprised how much it repels dust now

[Evolution]

Got my Supra a different companion. CA gas prices suck, so meet the 22 chevy bolt euv as the new daily. It honestly runs pretty good. If anyone wants a clean cobalt ss, there will be one for sale shortly haha.

Did a brake fluid flush / bleed / swap to Castrol SRF RBF (Fluid recommended by someone who tracks their supra, though I'm surprised its only 518f boiling point, my brz had RBF600 and a friend runs RBF660 for 600 and 660f boiling points) Haven't driven it yet, fingers crossed I didn't mess it up and get air in the system. The reservoir never went below mid on fill level and I had it overflowed a few times

I do not understand the front jackpoint, I have a pretty standard jack which doesnt reach the front jackpoint by ~12 inches, and I'm sure the side is the same. This means to get the car on 4 jackstands involves jacking from the rear then the two fronts?? Seems rough for flexing the body / chassis

I just lifted my supra yesterday using the centre jack point. Once it was high enough, I placed the jack stands on the sides. Buy the polyurethane jack pads from Amazon. Well worth the $8.

The Supra looks amazing in red.

I can't reach, the area being pointed at there is what I circled, and my jack is already touching the front of the car

I drove up on some scrap 2x8's. It gave me an extra little bit of height in order to get the jack underneath the car. even a 2x4 will work on each side. put them in front of the tires. the car will drive right up on them with no problem. Check out my post, you'll see the wood where my front wheels were. just a scrap piece.

@Xproplayer highly recommend race ramps. Way easier to get to jack-points or subframe.

I wish I would have just bought race ramps instead of thinking the piece of shit plastic Cusco ones would be good. ?

Which model did you go with?

[NJA90]

Just ordered 72” race ramps once they come in I’ll let everyone know if there’s any issues. Highly doubt it since the approach angle start at over 6*

[Rocksandblues]

ripped off my passenger side rear spat taking a short cut through the gravel. Cones in the pic are because of my risky pass in the previous time trial race.

Another track day yesterday was completely plagued with XHP issues. The idea is simple. use 'always start in 2nd' to launch the car in auto mode after the burnout. However, Mike Speed (Evolution of Speed owner) and I have consistently run into this problem.

1. Put the car in manual mode for burnout
2. Do burnout 1-3rd gears to get the tires cooking
3. Slap to auto mode while staging to make the pass

After the burnout, and switching to auto mode, the car consistently shifts into 1st gear, rather than second. Which makes for a stressful staging time. Sometimes powering down the car, and opening the door doesn't always fix it.

But that 9.7 tho
