Maybe it's just me but I not certain what the benefits are of cutting a hole in your hood ... only to expose the top of the tire through the hood?!? Am I missing something?

Nope, it looks horrible.

It lets out the pressure of all the air in the wheel high pressure zone which increases down force.

To me, working my hands doing stuff is benefit enough. Although I take this car to the track, I’m not chasing shaving tenths of seconds with everything, (my engine is stock), and when I go to the track I just plan to have fun for a couple of days here and there.

In the era of internet, people take other people’s stuff too seriously. Besides fun, this car does not represent anything else to me, is not my daily, I’m not looking to compete with anyone, So Let’s call it fun in the garage!

Im also fixing a 1967 WW beetle…. For no reason in particular, If I would post it here someone would not be happy about it.

not everything has to make sense.

There is even a pink Tesla here at home. ??ā€ā™‚!!!

I was going to hit the like button until I saw pink Tesla… Remember Mary Kay cosmetics or Pepto Bismol? Can’t get it out of my head now ?

To each his own brotha.… Godbless ya for doing shit yourself and having fun in the process ? ?

Missed ya last weekend. The FARA event was a blast. I was really honored to get 2nd place next to these guys. Both amazing drivers & been doing it for ages. I’m the clown holding up my trophy.

Homestead again this next weekend. Hope to see you there! My car is back at the shop. Trying to get her to turn in (rotate) a bit more easily. Maybe they’ll add a pinch of toe out up front or stiffen up the rear a bit more. Like you, I’m just doing this for fun. It’s great when you can get the car dialed in & drive the snot out of her ?

Yeah!
Will be there this next weekend.
Look for the biggest noob on the track! The goal is to keep the car off the walls and the grass!

By the way, I looked at my best time in homestead and I can tell you that you would lap me by the 4th time we go around the circuit ???

The Mary Kay cars still exist, apparently. I saw a light pink new Mercedes in Austria last week with the Mary Kay metal badge on the rear and everything… ?

This is a Pre-production run. They are gonna go for about 1000.

quality is too notch. Every side has 2 pieces and they go very well with each other.

I was able to install them without instructions, as of now there are none.

I will post a YouTube with the install process

Those look so damn good, I love them. I want to see more front tire, be that from above or behind - functionality aside, it's just a good look.

Had an eventful 2 day trip out to Vegas. 600 miles in 2 days. 100 of those on the track. Ended up 2nd in class like normal which secured my season long 2nd place standing. Don’t even have to do the last race at this point. Might show up to the last race just for the free dinner and awards ceremony.

you can see the Vegas strip in the distance in this one.

Acquired the XHP license. Haven’t decided whether I should go with their Map packs or go with a custom tuner instead. For all the other XHP users, which choice do y’all recommend?
