What did you do to your Supra today?

[5150.MKV]

Installed H&R springs and full reflector delete kit. Looks great with the 15mm spacers too.

Heard the reflectors are a pain in the ass to pry off but really want to do the same to my Absolute Zero. How was your experience any issues / tips?

Shoot. Thought that was the brains of the car

NGL this is kind of unsettling to look at

You've heard correct lol. Make sure you have a heat gun. I took the extra 10 minutes and removed each fender cover so I could pop off the sides of the front bumper so I could access the backside. If you want any more tips feel free to DM me!

I’m thinking moisture

You would think that.

Seriously, looks like some kind of other fluid residue was in the drain pan prior to oil joining the hot tub party

I did add ceratec

That's why. My oil looked the same after I installed my Pure 700 and packed the turbo cartridge with break in oil.

Removed a seat rail bolt to verify its size to install my new seat. Can’t get this Recaro podium slider to stay in place without applying pressure to the center actuator. Once pressed down (lifted up) it just pops out?.

That‘s sucks! Call them. They should be able to help figure it out.

I just ordered (yesterday) the one racebuild and Bryan said would work/fit (on another thread):

Fantastic company. Called me to ask if I really wanted the passenger side (whoops!! I did not. So they switched the order). Along with a seat, harness, and other goodies to finally drive this Supra properly on track..

Also wanted to replace the caliper bolts, since I change the pads & rotors way more often than designed for. Bought these suckers that were recommended on my previous track cars. Figured it couldn’t hurt

Why are you taking off the caliper bolts to change the brake pads?

Also, OEM caliper bolts are cheaper. BMW #34106864424

Posting seems to have really taken a dive on all threads here.

Winter time for some/most (me)

Well, with snow, yes, the Supra gets pampered. lol

I had an all wheel drive GTX Eclipse and loved the performance. In the snow, it was superb.

I had to have the engine replaced though. I used a K&N filter for some time and that screwed the engine. The mechanic I used, as the engine got worse and worse, showed me the wear and issues and said the filter allowed a lot of particles to get by, even though he could tell I had oiled the filter correctly. He also raced cars and said he would never use that filter. I contacted K&N and with proof, even with that, they would do nothing and offered no explanation. They just wanted to cut and run.

Anyway, I use the OEM air filter on the Supra. Great vehicle!

States that posting has taken a dive here, then proceeds to post about an Eclipse GSX in a "What did you do to your Supra today" thread.
