They did in some form or another. Iāve had lots of RACE SHOPS (good and bad) over the years. And Iāve made lots of mistakes. I still enjoy looking ? up and determining whatās legit and whatās not. Iām happy now to have two good shops & learn more every day. I wish I could do the stuff myself & always appreciate your advice! Maybe in retirement, I can start doing more of these things myself. Iāll start with the non track cars so Iām not littering the track with parts when I do ?Is that what your RACE SHOP told you?
Bryan is right. You got nothing to worry about amigo. I drove your car and she felt solid, great in fact ?. I didnāt do it correctly, in the beginning, like you did. Thought Iād do light tracking and wouldnāt need the things you would for a more dedicated track car. I learned the hard way ? & ended up getting professional help after the fact. This is an interesting topic and caught my attention.
you know me. Iām just starting to get seat time but all along Iāve done a lot to the car.
I changed my wheels, tires, springs, lowered the car, added front sway bar, and a lot of aero and the car was aligned, 4 corner balanced and dialed on the lowest setting on an after market sway bar. (I trust these people they are a good racing team). The car feels great as is on the track (thatās the set up you drove)⦠but obviously Iām very far from the limit.
I recently added spacers to that setup 10mm front and 13mm rear.
Looks better, and I take the car out for a 10 mile drive every other week or so. Is not my daily. but since the car was *dialed* without them, I have no issues in taking those out when my next track day arrives.
not entirely sure why i'm getting NFS carbon vibes, but i enjoy iti chopped a hole in this giant hood this weekend.

That looks fantastic ? - Iād remove the Z (space) 4 - but thatās me.
LOL at the badging.
Thats alibaba for you. Not much effort went in to annoy the local bimmer bois with it.
OMG. That's just lovely.
I used to hate people cutting up their hood for crooked vents, but I think it's growing on me. It's almost like those slammed trucks with the crooked license plates, except for your hood.i chopped a hole in this giant hood this weekend.
