I've been riding for much longer than I've been driving and eventually I got used to it. I'm at the point where I feel more comfortable riding a motorcycle over my tuned A90. I've lost a few riding buddies over the years as well but riding a motorcycle is a form of escapism for me.
I totally relate to that man. After years of riding you accept the reality that every driver on the road is potentially trying to kill you. That mindset has kept the rubber side down for me and my brother. We've had countless friends get seriously injured over the years. On the bike one feels very in tune with the surroundings. You can hear and feel things to a different degree compared to something like the supra which is great, but numb in comparison to super bikes. Just my thoughts. Love cars but been riding much longer than I've had a sports car.

The Supra is my daily.

My other car is a 2012 WRX hatchback, basic stage 2 with some suspension work. I use it for hauling larger things, winter/snow driving, etc.

I had a 2005 STi with a fully built motor, rotated GT3076 turbo, E85, etc. that was my weekend toy (WRX was the daily), but I traded that in for the Supra and moved the WRX into a “winter beater” role.

2021 Golf GTI S, stock, I switched from working at a Toyota dealer (when I bought the Supra) to a VW dealer a couple months ago, and got the GTI to save miles on the Supra. I'm pretty happy with it, it's fun, my only regret is not getting a stick.

~ The GTI is one of the best all around cars for the money imo. A very fun car to drive that is versatile. I have one for my runner/winter car and enjoy it very much.

I definitely daily my new '21 Supra (avg @ 650 miles per month) and also have a 2010 FJ Cruiser 6MT as my bad weather and hauler/loader truck. (Would love an S2000 to add!! Miss that thing dearly...)
