Currently have a mst v2 intake, FTP charge pipe and have a boostlogic catless dp ready to install, was wondering what map I should run once I install the downpipe? I will get a custom map from jesse once I install my exhaust but for the meantime with these mods what map should I run? Or should I wait to install the exhaust and just get custom map

What map are you currently running without the DP? You can play it safe and keep it on that. I was running map 2 with my catless DP, intake and what not with no issue.

I’d def go for the Jesse tune asap. He does great work.

Does going on map 2 remove CEL? Or how do you get rid of that

I'd get the custom tune before the exhaust. The exhaust won't make a difference on the custom tune.

It won't get ride of a cel. JB4 can't get rid of cel, you'll need something like EcuTek for that.

Best way to get rid of that CEL outside of a real tune is to sell that catless dp and buy one that doesn't throw a CEL like the one from Armytrix which I have on my car for 19k miles.

Throw all your mods on, then hit Jesse up for a phat custom tune. Or you can pay him each time you add new stuff. Iā€˜m sure he won’t mind $$$ ?

I will say the gains are incredible! No dyno needed to feel the difference :flame:

It depends on the octane you use
Would you mind elaborating?

In NJ we have a pretty consistent 93. On occasion ill find a station that only carries 91/92 and the very rare situation where ill see 94(?).

Does Map 1 do better on 91 vs 93? Will Map 2 do better with 93 vs 91? Wondering if thats the case for the people who say their map2 was just jumpy and erratic.

The higher the octane, the more aggressive the map can be. OP asks which map to run when the essential factor in getting an accurate answer is octane which he does not mention.

Map 1 works fine for either octane. You can run map 2 with 93 with no problem, but if you are running 91 and want to run map 2, I strongly recommend datalog.

@MkvJordan Iā€˜m currently running Map 3 until I get my heat exchanger installed. It’s working quite well on track.
