Gotcha. There’s a a new catch can on the market that may help with the blow by. Everyone recommended me a catch can for pure 800 since we push way more power. I just bought a catch can from forge.
I might go that route too. Going to contact Pure and a few other people I know first.

Are you sure it's not because it's cold out here in Mass?

Did it end up being the turbo?
How you liking the CC.

Did anyone get any results or determine the cause? Just went catless downpipe and tested a splash of e85 (should be about an e40 mix) and JB4 on map 5... Buddy thought the car was on fire at the first light I reached after the first pull on that map. Smoke everywhere. Kept smoking every time I gave it some throttle, switched to Map3...slightly less frequent clouds of smoke. Finally filled up with 93 octane again... Very minimal smoke.

1300 miles on the car.??‍♂ Put 400 miles on the car in the past 24 hours and the oil measurement before and after the smoke started hasn't changed.

Same thing. Only noticed it after installing a titan CDP with an MST air intake. Used to happen before tuning the car and still does after a 98 RON tune.

no warnings or lights, though didn't check oil level yet.

Makes me feel better, honestly. I'm now at 1000 miles after the initial smoke I saw (yeah I've been driving it everywhere), and the oil measurement hasn't changed.

Any results or narrowing down the cause? I've been having the same issue for a while now. Pure800 Catless Downpipe*. No noticeable power issues. I do run a high burble/pop setting in EcuTek.

When I'm just cruising then come to a complete stop is typically when the cloud of smoke blows by me. I've been running the burble/pop setting completely off both in sport and regular modes. After about a day of driving seems like it has gone away. Noticeable difference in the past 2 weeks.

Could the seals in the wastegate be going/ prematurely worn out with the aggressive burble/pop setting?

*No Catch Can. I do go through oil pretty quick. Quart every 1,500 miles (2020 A90). I just went to a thicker weight so I'll see if it lasts a bit longer. I did run some Lucas additive for a bit and frequently add injector cleaner. Running a Liquid Molly Valve Cleaner now. I'm about 27,000 miles.

I’ve heard that Pure800s can have some oil issues. But I personally don’t have one. Our newest member @zrk might know more.

Pure800 on it's own will blow pretty quick because they're... not great turbos. Stuffed turbos never are. BUT add a burble tune to that, and you're applying fire to the already questionable center cartridge.

You happen to have a recent log handy?
