Was walking through the garage today and noticed that the Lexus already had OE wind diffusers from the factory on the mirrors. They are already glossy black and blend right in.

As I drove around today, I wondered that myself and noticed that tons of Toyota/Lexus have this setup on alot of their cars. I didn't notice any other car manuf doing this.

I don’t know if it is the geometry change from my subwoofer deck or the additional shit in my trunk, but with the weather improving, I have noticed I have zero buffeting now. I have no buffeting mods, so I’m confused as to why, but I’ll take it.

Are you riding around without the truck cover installed? I wondered if messing with the cargo area would change the way air was coming into the cabin and possibly change the buffeting effect.

Yes, but my rear deck is an inch or so taller from an aftermarket sub box. My cargo area has a cargo divider that is about 3’ x 16” x 16”. I had terrible buffeting when I first got the car and now none. It is saving me over $100, so whatever it is, I’m happy to have it.

Good to hear! I'm going to experiment tomorrow with removing the cargo cover and also adjusting it. That would definitely change the air flow in the cabin and the acoustic factors of the wind flowing through. My old Z06 had a soft shade cover in the cargo area. It was basically mesh to help cover anything stored in the cargo area and allowed air to flow around back there. It would be great if that is all we needed for the A90 too!
