This last weekend I got a rock stuck between my break guard and the rotor. It was the most God awful noise ever. The rock has been removed. No damage to anything.

Defeats the purpose of having things under warranty and the tire is leaking air when filled so the dealer doesn't think a plug is smart.

Thanks though.
So then plug it or have them take it off and put a patch on from the inside. It is not a big deal. If you have that wheel/tire coverage, they can swap it out when the new one arrives.

The dudes (two) at the dealership didn't think that any of that was a good idea (the nail/screw was freaking in the sidewall). The tire will be here Monday. Already riding around in a junker, it just sucks that this car doesn't seem have much dealership support.

Oh well.

That makes a big difference. They are correct. Can't plug or patch if it's in the sidewall.

Installed my ZL1 Mudguards today! I am glad that they don't look too bad and go with my Blue/Black color scheme I have going on.

I was able to install without removing the tires, I am not a big person so my hands fit in-between alright.

Only issue I had was one of the rivet pins bent when I was tapping it in, but that got straightened out.

Installed my SLIPLO Scrape Guards today. I just bought a single kit on Amazon.

I didn't put it on the lip for three reasons:

1. I didn't want it that visible, you can only see some of it from the side *picture attached*
2. I mainly cared about the painted parts being scraped
3. A replacement lip is less than $200 for all three parts and don't require painting, so if I crack it up enough I can just buy a new one for a relatively low cost.

Picked up some Titan 7 wheels for the Supra today. Wasnt planning on getting wheels so soon and i usually do suspension first, but i got a deal i couldnt pass up. Was originally planning on getting these wheels in Black but i really like this blueish grey instead. I think it contrasts with the Refraction blue really well.

It’s happened to me three times in 16 months.

The first time it happened I thought I was dragging pans, the heat shield, the muffler...

stock tires? look really stretched
yeah, i couldnt justify buying another set of MPSS when these dont even have 1000 miles on them yet. Once i save up some i'll prob put these back on my stock wheels and then get a new set

Finally made the switch from the Titan piggy back to MHD OTS Stage 2. All I can say is what a difference going to MHD. I know Ecutek is all the buzz now, and rightly so, however MHD is ridiculously easy to use and flash so big kudos to them!
