This last weekend I got a rock stuck between my break guard and the rotor. It was the most God awful noise ever. The rock has been removed. No damage to anything.
So then plug it or have them take it off and put a patch on from the inside. It is not a big deal. If you have that wheel/tire coverage, they can swap it out when the new one arrives.Defeats the purpose of having things under warranty and the tire is leaking air when filled so the dealer doesn't think a plug is smart.
Thanks though.
The dudes (two) at the dealership didn't think that any of that was a good idea (the nail/screw was freaking in the sidewall). The tire will be here Monday. Already riding around in a junker, it just sucks that this car doesn't seem have much dealership support. So then plug it or have them take it off and put a patch on from the inside. That makes a big difference. They are correct. Can't plug or patch if it's in the sidewall. The dudes (two) at the dealership didn't think that any of that was a good idea (the nail/screw was freaking in the sidewall). Oh well.

yeah, i couldnt justify buying another set of MPSS when these dont even have 1000 miles on them yet. Once i save up some i'll prob put these back on my stock wheels and then get a new setstock tires? look really stretched
