Hey guys,

I'm new to this forum and I just had a few concerns and I think this is the right place to ask them. Im from Calgary, Canada and right now it's -33 degrees Celsius /-27 degree Fahrenheit. I have a 2021 Supra 3.0 that's been tuned and has an air intake, downpipe and exhaust. Recently I turned my car on in the garage (non heated) and left it on idle for about 5 minutes and tried to do a baby rev just to check and my car wouldnt rev. The engine was still cold (one bar), has anyone else experienced this? Should I be worried? Is this supposed to happen?
I'm open to all suggestions, sorry for the long post. Thanks guys!

First of all, welcome to the forum!, and I'm sorry I won't be much help but, There's a forum about supras not revving after starting, this may be helpful to read if you haven't already

it seems like it is still an ongoing problem, fingers crossed that someone can help you out though

Try to rev it in neutral. In park the rpm rests higher

How about revving it after driving around in sport mode?
So this wasn't a common issue during summer had it happen maybe once but now at this crazy weather I won't get to drive it. It was fine the other day I drove it parked it and revved fine. Even after startup it would rev fine. But today I just started the car up and didn't get to drive had it on idle for about 5 mins and tried wouldn't rev.

BMW M series cars have a feature where the car won’t let you go past a certain rev limit until the cars engine is at proper temperatures. I’m assuming they used the same technology on these cars. The reason this is a feature is so people can get in their car and drive and not have to warm it up. I think that due to your below freezing temperatures, this is what you’re experiencing.

Doesn't happen on 2020 supra or is less the case.
Sensor related on 2020 built supras.

It's not cold related. It's sensor related.
Start watching after 7min.
That's the exact issue. I'm trying to understand if this will cause other issues. I read the other forums and there seems to be no fixing it either.
