Bench unlock is for almost all GR Supra whether '20 or '21. (I've heard a report that very early models didn't even needed bench unlocking but cannot confirm) However, ECU dated in June (still unclear but some time around 6/7/20) and after is hardware locked and cannot be unlocked at this point in time. As I understand, this is not limited to supra but for all cars using Bosch ECU. And dates varies for different cars.
I can confirm that early cars didnt need any unlocks.

I have checked mine today and found out that it's 9/18/20 ?
So since life is too short to be stock, I went ahead and ordered a JB4, Catless DP, and a CAI

You guys are gonna like the JB4 and Dp/Turboback. Map 3 is solid
Anyone getting the EWG harness or is that just for blended fuels?

I will. Looks like you want it if you're running map 3

My biggest question is - best tire upgrade path post-tune? have seen some saying it's hard to put the power down post-tune on the stock SS tires

Hear a lot of good things about R888R's - are these fine as a year round street tire? (this car isn't my DD and is garaged, never sees rain/snow/etc.)

Tires are my primary concern regarding adding more power since I'll be swapping to PS A/3+ next year. Hmmm...

I didnā€™t get it. Spoke to botti and he said you donā€™t need it. Eventually Iā€™ll have him do a custom map for me if they canā€™t unlock the ecu for a long time

I think if you run a E85 blend with the JB4 you need the ewg(Unless you have a custom map)

No go with my unlock on my 6/21/20. Looks like JB4 Map3 will be my best option for now.

Is this what you're running? I'm trying to get everything done at once, full exhaust/JB4. Out of curiosity, with the JB4 extra power it's putting down - worth going ahead and upgrading to 265/285 tires? I've heard that's the case with custom tunes, wanted to see if it was pretty much the same with a JB4 on map3, enough power to warrant the upgrade. Looking at swapping the PSS for the PS 4S and going up to 265/285 if it makes sense.

Yeah,Iā€™m running a turboback and Iā€™m on map 3. A tire upgrade would def help since the torque is much higher now. But why not go 295/305s in the back?

Iā€™m still on OEM tires. But Iā€™m swapping them out when I get new wheels. Iā€™ll be running 305s in the back

Just going off what I hear on a more consistent basis. 265/285 seems to be pretty common, keeping the same ratio as stock 255/275.

Just FYI for the guys going piggyback and concerned about CEL. The downpipe sold on Supra store has the O2 sensor false tubes so they arenā€™t actually exposed to the uncatted exhaust fumes. This is the same kind of downpipe I ran on my last Evo to avoid CEL and the car ran great for 6 yrs before I sold it.
