Just getting used to having a automatic again, what do you suggest is the best way to launch it?
Thanks

launch control...
Lmaooo I know what this means all too well. OP, find three safe spots (minutes apart for cool down) and try launching in all three modes. Sport mode + TCS+SC, Sport mode + SC off (one press), and Sport mode + Everything off (press and hold 3 seconds). See which you like most, mine is the middle, right amount of slip and giddy up.

2nd gear launch works good for me. I’ve seen others that run just as quick leaving in 1st. I’ve cut 1.6 60ft on street tires launching 2nd gear

Speaking to the guys racing their Supra at TX2K, they all launch from 2nd gear.

Brake boosting in 2nd allows you to build boost. You can actually get the RPM up to almost 3k and still hold on the foot brake without creeping the car forward.
