So I got my dream car finally. A refraction model. Anyway, I’ve been talking smack to my neighbor/friend that I’m gonna gap his stinger.
I come to find out that the stinger is a capable car and seems to beat supras.
Does anyone have any experience going against a stinger.

There's no way a stock Stinger GT has any chance vs a stock 6cyl Supra....let alone a base Stinger.....that thing weights over 4k lbs so don't worry you won't have to put your foot in your mouth ?

Sure, but stingers are also pretty easily tuned. They’re super capable cars, and can be real quick with some mods.

True, that's why I specified stock in both cases....in the world of mods and tunes anything can happen i guess

Stock for stock a 2020 supra gaps a stinger by lightyears. A 2021 would make a stinger fall into another dimension.

I’m not really sure. I just typed in online and seen a few examples where the stinger won.
I do have a DP, MST, Charge tube, to install and have not yet checked to see what build date is

The Stinger is extremely quick, especially for what it is. That said, 0-60 in 4.4, 0-100 in 10.6, and 1/4-mile in 12.9 isn’t going to beat any 3.0 Supra, stock-for-stock.
While it has AWD, it also weighs over 4000lbs, with 365hp. He might get you right off of the line with that AWD grip, but past that, you’re running away.
Start in 2nd gear, power-brake to a little over 2000RPM, and go. And don’t forget to shift.

I test drove a Stinger and while it was quick, the suspension was soft (even in sport mode) and it needed a little more horsepower. I really like the design...it's a looker and has great cargo space. Have you guys seen the Stinger Scorpion? They really missed the mark on that one, IMHO. That model should have had the improvements to the suspension and a bit more horsepower...oh well.

The 2.0 is a real problem for those of us who didn’t buy the imitation-crab-meat version. In this sense: I’ll get a lot of Charger and Mustang guys telling me stories about how they destroyed a Supra. Then I take them out for a few rolls, and they sing a different tune 2 busses behind me?

Look on YouTube, tuned Supra's are gapping C8's. No way a Stinger is beating a Supra.
