Is there a reasons you didn’t buy a 3.0 in the first place? In terms of cost yes it’s going to be extremely expensive and very time consuming

The easiest way to swap engines would be to trade in the entire car and purchase the 3.0 version.

Hello, I am an owner of a 2021 supra 2.0 and I would like to swap to B58 engine. I have asked a lot about it but all say that it’s not worth it in terms of cost?
yes. like others said, in terms of cost, not worth it unless you have opportunity like you blew your 2.0 and need to replace it or something like that.. Just the cost of used B58, ECU, perhaps transmission will be close to difference of cost between 2.0 & 3.0 before labor. And then you might want to upgrade brakes, wheels, tuning & ETC to compensate more power.

This fruit that you want to squeeze has no juice in it.

Trading it in for a 3.0 would be a cheaper and faster solution.

This is sort of like how people back in the day bought a 3000GT SL and wanted to convert it over to be mechanically identical to the VR4... even now that isn't worth it.

I had a feeling that some were going to have buyer's remorse. Should have just got the 3.0 in the first place. It's only like what, $8k more?

$12k-$15k for a B58. A 3.0 is about $5-$8k difference.

Not necessarily. I bought my 2021 2.0 (with Safety & Tech Package) new in December of 2020 for $40,800 and the lowest they'd go (at the time) on a 3.0 was $53,000....So a $12,200 difference in price. For me though, I bought my 2.0 as a beater / track car / promotional vehicle for one of my companies. I had zero interest in the 3.0.
