Color match is perfect imo. Paid 1,100 out the door. However, there are some imperfections. Do you guys think it’s a big deal? Am going to ppf the whole car after 30 days (to let paint cure) so I prob won’t see this stuff but was wondering for the price if this is acceptable. Also, they scuffed up the black front spoiler a bit which sucks.

here’s when I did it if you’re curious:

Looks pretty good from distance but are you gonna be happy up close? I know that for me my eye would immediately go to those spots. I would bring it up to them and request them to fix those issues if it were me. Also, when you go ppf etc, all those issues may be a problem to cleanly cover/adhere. Just my two cents. I had an issue with my front bumper when I first got my car. The dealer drilled holes and I went back and they fixed and resprayed free of charge. There were slight imperfections but not what I see on yr bumper. That overspray line on the plastic parts seems not ok to me either. Add in that they scuffed some of the front, I would complain:(

It looks like a typical rushed repair job done at the bodyshop.. a race against time for profits.

I would be pissed.

and obviously it's not a high tech bodyshop with a clean room.
Dusty, probably didn't even close doors, all shit stuck. so imperfect.
They didn't even remove the plastic panels and painted over it. wtf they charged you 1100 for.
Don't even know what that bubbly looking image is..

For $1100 go slap them!! Slap them 3 times.
Dealership with a body shop would have charged you less...

To your question is it a big deal. You've to be the judge for that. I'd also be pissed.

Just my opinion... PPF seems to magnify imperfections from my experience. I had rock chips on one of my cars that I had PPF'd and it stuck out like a sore thumb. TBH, i would bring it back and ask them to look at it again to see if those imperfections can be wet sanded out.

But yes, for $1100 for a front bumper i would want it to be near flawless.

Looks like standard collision body shop work. They obviously didn't really care about the end result. I wouldn't be happy..especially with that price point.

Should I take it back? What should I do?

This is mediocre work at best, paint match looks good, but with such a new car and OEM PPG paint it should be... those imperfections are not minor, one or two of those, even 3 is maybe something you can say F it, is what it is, but you paid more than top dollar for this job... 1100 is a lot for just a respray even with todays crazy prices... $8-$900 is more reasonable for a high end job... I would not accept this level of work for anything over $5-$600 max take it back and request it be done properly or if you paid on card I would open a dispute.

Completely up to you. If you bought your car from places like Carvana, chances are, it will look like that.

I definitely would not have taken delivery of that work...
As stated above, ppf will most definitely amplify those imperfections...
With that being said, the shop that applies your ppf should be doing a paint correction before film application...
