My interior mod for maximizing space is a different car. Slightly more expensive than some of the options in this thread, but definitely more practical.
Downside, when you do transition back to the Supra, shit feels weird and broken. Borrowed my fathers Ram 1500 for a few days and when I went back to my Supra it took ages to acclimate. Can't see shit, forgot how to ingress/egress, throttle & brakes are touchy, steering response, lack of storage...

That's what the truck is for :p

But yeah, I know. I took the Supra out for the first time since November the other morning. Took a second to remember the volume was on the other side of the steering wheel.

Don’t forget the passenger seat rear pocket. Nice for ease of access from the drivers seat.

How did you mount that to your carpet? I tried using velcro but none of the velcro I used would attach (stick) to the carpet.
I closed my eyes, prayed for the best, and drilled some holes. 1/4” drill bit, fluffed the carpet and pressed to create circles in it from the pegs on the back of the net to see where to drill. Took a pick tool to poke a pilot hole for the drill bit. Tried to position it similar to the passenger side however a little closer to the driver seat.

Not when I'm riding Shotgun.

Thinking about tossing he manual in the trunk in the battery compartment. It seems to have ample space and I'll need access to the manual about as much as the battery. Any issues with that? Something I'm not considering? Fire hazard?

Some good tips in this thread. Thank you!

If anyone is looking for a good trunk organizer, I picked this one up and it works great. Fits nicely and has velcro on the bottom to keep it from sliding around. Also, it's short enough so the hatch closes with no problem.

But then you'd be out in the not-supra and wish you had the supra :(, this is why I chose my Supra instead of a "track car" and a "daily car', I'd hate to be in one when I wish I could be in the other :p
~ Honestly... I can say I’ve never ridden shotgun in my own car to date.
That's wild, I've ridden shotgun at least 5 times now but those are all when I'm letting someone else drive the car to experience it, but these are <30 min trips

Yeah.. I'd consider that a feature vs. a bug. I much prefer my other cars for driving around town.

Part of our issue is too much junk in the trunk to be honest. We carry a fair amount of First Aid and Road Trouble Gear in the vehicles we drive. Makes the Supra a rolling first aid kit. It's red so maybe I just put a big white cross and some lights on it and call it a day.

Jealous, my car didn't come with the inflator or first aid, I just have an owners manual in its pouch (seems like I got lucky getting the pouch??)

In spirit of the thread, so far I've moved my cargo organizer from my last car to the Supra:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01DIMTWCS/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&th=1 which has lasted 2.5 years so far while being cheap, I recommend it. Mine never had the cover but that seems nice for our cars since you can see the trunk from the front

The next essential mod was something for sunglasses:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08MT9H5PL/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I don't love the placement (I put it on the passenger side), I really want something like this but centered in the car near the SOS button, if I can find something to mount to I might 3d print an adapter or full sunglasses storage area.

Finally I have a trash can I hung off the passenger side, unclear if it'll stay there long term, it came from my last car as well: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07L8J27B2/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I gave the plastic tray that sits under the radio a try. The fitment is pretty spot on, but I don't know why they made it so shallow when theres space available to make it a little deeper. I know that may present a challenge to get smaller things out of it, but an extra inch could have gone a long way.

I'll see how much use I get out of it over the next couple weeks. Mostly I just wanted to be able to toss my phone in that spot without having to reach around the shifter.
