What would you be willing to pay monthly for use of Man Cave Garage?

We have them down here in VA including at my track. Expensive!!
The track side ones that look just like that are 250k and up to purchase.

The man cave thing is spreading around and looks to be one the trends like storage facilities were last decade.

I'm not your market- my answer would be zero. I have a commercial property that I rent to others (have my own units saved). Just no where as nice as what you are proposing. But we have bays that can easily fit one car w lift for $150/month Metal buildings.

Edit: here is the product at my home track.

Hey I’m interested in this actually. I’ll message you

Hard to say how much I’d pay because i feel like this kind of space is generally shared among friends. And I don’t know anyone with a garage space like this, which is an L on my part
Plus I don’t even have friends that are into cars.

Friends? At least you have some
When my mom quit paying people to be nice to me they all went away

If my kids were into cars I was planning on modifying my existing attached finished garage (900 sq ft), take out the ceiling, vault it and add a similar second floor lounge (not quite that big) and add a 2 post and a storage rack.

But my kids have no interest in cars so I abandoned that project years ago as modified garages have no value to normal folks when it comes time to sell the house. Plus adding air conditioning and stuff alters the livable space and property tax, etc. I heard.

It's too bad, maybe in my next life I will have kids that are into cars and a wife that is not so scary..

This has recently become a thing in my area as well (Powell, Ohio) but you purchase the space “Car Condo” and the facility has a Member Clubhouse for gathering. Assuming one can’t occupy the space as a residency.

Guys, depending on where you live, this is old news. Auto garage communities with custom build outs have been wildly popular in many cities around the country. Most do not allow you to rent though, it's like buying a house, you buy it outright and own it and then re-sell it like a house. I've seen very elaborate setups with full service bars, game rooms, bathroom and living quarters, remote office build outs, etc. They are awesome but you still have to think about how convenient it is to drive somewhere just to get a car to drive again (storage situation). If you want to get one with high ceilings for a lift for service, completely different use case and definitely makes sense.

AMP in Georgia did this and this has become a popular trend….. another forma “Yacht-ing”. AMP is upwards of 20k buy in and then the car condo price on top of it.

ie. pull your craft from boathouse to rooster dock for free weekend power and cable tv! Only to return .00000001342 nautical feet to the boathouse.

I say kick the family cars outside and chill in a cheap chair at home.

If my grown kids were into cars I would've converted my 4 car garage into a 2 story showroom/workshop with lounge. Since they have zero interest, I decided to just add some of my own tweaks with no construction. It's got over 900 sq ft of space and park 3 cars inside with ample room, 2 work shops... some days I just spend the entire day in there.

Thanks, yeah, the pandemic (work from home) was a blessing in disguise, really. ? I spent a lot of time in the garage.
