Jesus that thing looks like an absolute lemon. All that undercarriage damage and the strut towers cracked is a no go for me, and I think I'm braver than most lol. That's a parts car.

How much do you think it is going to cost to fix? Was it even worth the $17k+ that he paid?

25+ to fix. Maybe 30+. It's really hard to tell if it needs an engine.

Poor guy, if he wants to get it back on the road then used parts on eBay and the forums are probably going to be his best bet.

In the comment section, he said - MotorHead.Co "We’re gonna send it back". Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think Copart takes back cars.

But it’s got a K&N Intake on it. ?

Poor guys should have watched the nightmare from the Tuber in Panama. His Copart buy was a runs and drives special.

The kid said he paid $20K to get it home.

I wouldn't start that engine with 0 oil in the sump. You could rotate the Crank with a ratchet off the Crank pulley to see if it even turns.

In my opinion I wouldn't even think of restoring that car unless you have tons of cash and are just wanting to restore a newer supra for the fun of it. If you were trying to get a bargain supra by fixing up a salvaged one and are short on money I would take the loss and make sure to learn something from this.

It sucks that the auction company was so untruthful about the car. I mean if they even attempted to look at the undercarriage you would have to be legally blind not to see all that damage.
