So the silver trunk brace right behind the rear seats us making a rattling/clicking noise. When I hold the brace it goes away. It also goes away if I position my seat just right but that does not seem to be a reliable solution. If you have solved this annoying issue, can you share what you did? I cannot find any good videos/instructions for how to access the brace to tighten/adjust it. Here is a photo. Thanks!

Maybe you can Jerry rig a wedge somewhere in the seams to keep it from wiggling? Atleast momentarily until you consider showing dealership?

The brace will move around by design. This causes creaking and clicking sounds when you go over uneven surfaces.

Some people have removed the trim pieces around the brace to help reduce unwanted sound.

I recently removed mine to replace it. There was a little rattle I thought was coming from it but it still remains after replacing it, I think it's actually some wires inside the trim. To access the bar to tighten or adjust it, look up youtube videos of people installing the Cusco harness bar, it'll show you what you need to do.

If it is the bar, adding some kind of soft plastic or foam washer where it bolts in for it to be able to kind of flex into may help.

It is entirely possible that it's just loose.
I had to remove the trim pieces around mine to install some new subwoofers.

This video will show you how to get at the crossbar (I found it more helpful than the Bavsound speaker install video):

Skip ahead to the 7:15 mark.

I was able to eliminate a buzzy vibration by using some Gorilla tape on the black plastic around the inside of the hole that you can see in @Loco38SUP picture. It’s very loose and rattly, for lack of a better term. You can tighten the bolt by just removing the trim around the back pillar, but if you going as far as to remove the bar itself for any reason I would secure that little piece.

I have a rattle in the same spot as yours. It drives me nuts.

I actually tried that out of the gate and it did not work unfortunately.

I feel you. I will remove the trim and see what I can tighten/adjust per the comments on this thread and report back if it worked.

There's just too much rattle in this car. It's driving me nuts sometimes. I fixed the speaker rattling and also the belt retractors, but still the harness bar and some other stuff rattles sometimes.

I guess I'll have to live with it ?
