My car finally got here 2 days ago (5/19 build date). Still waiting for a “finance” guy to call me and finalize my paperwork. I have my own financing and not buying any add ons, so I guess they’re not in any hurry?!? My poor sales guy happens to be away serving in the army reserves but doing his best to get them moving. Doesn’t help I’m 1000+ miles away and can’t just walk in there. But it is a MSRP deal…. My 1st Supra dealer, Modern Toyota, was just the opposite. MSRP deal and treated the car like a hot potato as soon as it arrived.

Congrats! Not sure if you plan on getting PPF or ceramic coating, but if so maybe give your guy a heads up to not wash your car? Tunnel washes are a killer on the paint, especially red ones.

It's phantom with red interior. If all goes well, they'll have the paperwork finished tomorrow  ? I've got to give them credit for at least being willing to sell to me, out of state. And sure as hell beats paying $10k over MSRP. I can use that money on PPF instead :)

Over 1k miles away? Guess they are shipping it to you? How much does that run? Might have to do the same.

@Southtown I use a shipping company. Over 1000 miles cost about $1000. You can pay more if you want 24 hour pickup or less if you choose 5-7 days. Not to mention enclosed vs open. I’ve done both ways for all my cars. Insurance is included with any option. The last Supra I did was enclosed but I wrecked it in one day… so there’s that ?
If you do decide to transport and the dealer doesn’t require you to use their transport, I can PM you the company I’m using.
It reminds me of when I first signed up for Amazon Prime ages ago. People were like “you get that shipped to your home?” I love saving money and hate being screwed. It may not be for everyone but I love it!

Thanks. I may have to do that. Southeastern Toyota is ridiculous. Many of them seem to want to charge a market adjustment or add tons of options I don’t want.

Hey JC, not sure if you're still shopping - but, back when i still lived in Jersey, Brad at Toyota of Princeton was selling Supras at MSRP, only catch is that they don't do all cash deals so need to finance with Toyota. His phone # is 215-900-5044. Email:
[email protected].
Unfortunately he cannot sell outside of NJ. I’m right over the river in NYC and he cannot sell to me.

I have used Intercity Lines a couple times now. Enclosed trailer. One time across the country from California to New Jersey and one time from Ohio to New York. They ship a lot of super high end cars so I've never had an issue with them. I highly recommend them.

The Ohio to New York was last November and it cost $1,095.

California to New Jersey was in 2019 and it cost $2,095.

I might have to do that. It’s not that I don’t mind going out and driving something back 8 hours away. I’m just afraid I’d chip up the front bumper on the trip before I get it in for xpel.

I used Mercury auto transport (ask for Meryl) from DC to FL for $1000. Covered would have been $300 more. Great service and fast ?

Stated today , you have to live within 25 miles of the dealership. Seemed like a straightforward guy . Hopefully , once the first MT Supra’s arrive the situation will change.

They don't seem to be that hard to come by in Canada right now at MSRP. Might be worth buying and importing.

I just bought mine from DCH Toyota in Wappingers Falls, NY. Under MSRP and a 3.99% rate with auto pay it drops to 3.74%. Hopefully their next allocation comes in this month... Ask For Joe if you do go.
