There are much worst people than the obvious mentions. Not only do they not contribute but they also bring negativity for no reason or perhaps except for self-importance or enjoyment. (they exist on all forums not much you can do about it)
That being said, they are people that are very credible, but they don't come out and say their involvement in the project that participates in the banter of this forums.
You'll have to pay attention to the banter also. Lots of folks are under NDA and can't come out and tell things, they just participate as members. I think people can understand they like their jobs.

So there's 3 engines then? Wouldn't that be counter productive in terms of costs? Designing a new engine specifically for the top spec. I'm really hoping this isn't just a B58

keep in mind this is a prototype. It may be quite different with the production car, talking about the cover etc. you're all right about it looking super identical to a B58.

Man, how was this the only video with engine bay shots? You'd think there'd be a ton of them. Need a better angle looking into that engine bay...
However it is still awful and ugly af lol.
Edit: okay so upon closer inspection, we have:
-The same water-air intercooler system built into the intake manifold as the B58. I'm saying this because of the size of the manifold and the water lines, which are very similar to that of other B58 cars.
-The same engine accessory layout and harness routing.
-The B58s new massive water pump (which is pulley driven not electrical like the old N55).
-The intake had a slightly different resonator and airbox, but same routing.
-The engine is not fully behind the strut towers, so likely not behind the front axle (unless the caster is crazy :/).
-The motor doesn't seem to be placed extremely low in the engine bay, although the hood line is fairly low, but it begs the question "How tf does this car have a lower CoG than an 86!?" The majority of the heavy components in an 86 are barely higher than your knees, here we have a big intake manifold full of water at waist height. Remains to be seen!
-Can't see the block so can't see the material type.
-Judging from the layout this also means that we have BMWs rear facing Valvetronic system, but that's a guess as I can't actually see it.
Very B58 right now though, which is slightly disconcerting! I'd expect more differences in the head, but granted the majority of the head is covered up.
Also I hate to nitpick here, but technically it is a bespoke cover to the Toyota. Different shape and size to the BMW ones.

Some parts in the hood looks covered up as well.So if thereās no actual holes in the hood how are we suppose to replace the fake vent covers to make them functionalView attachment 8064

Seems like Toyota is still hiding something. Look closer and youāll notice that there might be some holes on top of the headlight just covered by plastic and rubber.

I believe thereās a hole somewhere there. Just donāt know where exactly. Tada himself confirmed it that the vent would be functional in the production version. I donāt expect everything I see in a prototype version to be in a production version. From concept, to prototype, to production car.
