Post 6/2020 ECU unlocked in US

I have unlocked late 06.2020 DMEs, there is no single cutoff date,
easiest way is to check it with MHD app, "Unlock Check" button,
it checks what kind of lock DME has, whether it needs FEMTO or regular bench unlock, it does not check by build date, but by let's say lock mechanism

Start with checking your ECU date, not all A91s are hardware locked.

That's not true, i know for a fact, there are guys on here with tuned A91's, i don't recall member names offhand.

Ultimately, i find it hard to believe that Toyota **EDIT: (BMW) had a hard cutoff date of 6/1 where every single car on the manufacturing line went to the new DME. They likely phased it in and the closer you are to 6/1, i would assume the more likely you are to be able to be tuned. The MHD process seems to be definitive in telling you yes/no.

there was no one single cutoff date, I unlocked late 06.2020 DMEs, and had early 06.2020 that already had a new lock system

Here, you can see three possible results of the MHD "Unlock Check", fourth is "no unlock needed", for old cars

I was saying the method Levan posted is the easy to way to verify if your ecu is locked or nor.
