Upcoming DINAN parts for the A90

Figured I’d start a thread for these just to bring some awareness to the community about some new upcoming products.
I will get some good sound clips and such as soon as I can I just wanted to give some teasers.
intake is a gloss carbon top And gloss carbon tube. Also paired with the new DINAN gloss carbon turbo inlet. The box is a black injection mold and has a heatshield to protect against the heat from the exhaust manifold as most intakes do. The open top allows for some lovely induction noises to be noticeable in cabin. This box fits both the 2 port and 6 port and 2.0 Supras the only change for the 3.0 and 2.0 is the 2.0 gets a single elbow all the way from the intake box to the turbo. Flow Bench testing on the 2.0 was 100Cfm over stock and waiting to get results for the 3.0.

fyi yes this intake is my design as well as the strut bars haha so feel free to ask questions. I’ll try to be as open as I can. My car was used as the R&D for this and currently we’re waiting for production so not sure of the exact release date yet. Dyno results will also be coming shortly.

Along with the intake is the dual DINAN exhaust that I’ll be releasing some sound clips on although jp performance on YouTube has some good ones.

the engine cover is also a DINAN piece although that also is a “not sure on exact release yet”

Not that it is a deal breaker, but any Interest in getting it to be CARB-legal? I know Dinan has always been seen as OEM+, so figured I’d ask…

Also curious if the intake deletes the turbo resonator piece like the MST v2 and Armaspeed. These look great so far!

Haha the one for the m340i is a fully enclosed lid so this should offer more induction noise as well.

Yes sir, the turbo inlet pipe gets rid of that resonator piece. The Inlet should already be available as well for actual purchase.

I’ll get a sound clip asap, I have to find a way to wire a microphone under the hood. In terms of IATs I will look at finding a way to run some tests. I am planning on going to my local track this weekend for import alliance and doing some drag racing with the bench unlock tune that’s also by them on the car currently.

I’ll check and get back to you asap. The tests were run at our sister facility on the emissions dyno so they should be able to give me a more accurate answer

So in regard to CARB, it will be going for CARB testing at some point soon but it has not happened yet. However it does pass emissions for everywhere else. There will not be lights or issues etc

This is awesome, dinan quality has always been top notch, Carb legal will be hard but if it can be done wow!
