Hey everyone, new to Toyota so forgive me if this is a question with a well known answer already.

I'm coming from the Corvette world where there are a few high volume dealers that are known to sell for MSRP and, due to their high amount of sales, tend to get more allocations than anywhere else, resulting in the customer getting their car quicker than if they went to a random dealer in their city. Is there anything like that for the Supra? Any recommended dealers to do business with? I don't mind order out of state and arranging shipping myself.
Modern Toyota in Winston Salem NC sold me mine at MSRP. ā€œMomā€ was the sales person. Yeah thatā€™s her name. Iā€™m sure there are many more. They were very good with the process and enclosed transport cost me $1000 from NC to FL. Highly recommend them.

If you mean a dealership like Ciocca, I donā€™t believe one exists for the Supra. Dealers tend to get smaller volumes of Supras and I donā€™t believe thereā€™s a single dealer doing high volumes like you get with Corvettes.

I'm looking to buy a Supra in Bay Area NorCal or in Orange County or Los Angeles County SoCal and have zero luck. Is there anyone able to get in with no markups without being a return or local customer? I am trying to get a Yellow Supra Manual Premium 3.0.

Just went to a dealership in DE and they legit told me they werenā€™t gonna take a down deposit because they hadnā€™t seen a Supra in over a year. I respect them for it, but itā€™s kinda depressing. Iā€™m hoping I will have better luck finding one in Md at MSRP.

Sheehy Toyota in MD will sell at MSRP. However, they will require you join their VIP club (free service, car washes and crap I canā€™t use here in FL). You can buy the lowest package for about $900. They also have a required paint protectant bullshit for $1200. At the end of the day itā€™s only $2k over and not that bad if you want to keep it local. I feel like Iā€™ve talked to 100s of dealers since Iā€™ve bought 2 Supras, chasing down grey with red interior šŸ˜‚

Modern Toyota was the best and who I eventually went with in Winston Salem NC and paid $1000 shipping. ā€œMomā€ was my salesperson. She and the dealer were complete professionals! Great buying experience.

Go on the Toyota website and search inventory. When you donā€™t see the car you like (or any), change the zip code in the upper right corner approx 150-200 miles if you live in a densely populated State like Florida. If in Idaho (less dense), go out about every 300 miles zip code search. Yes you have to change the zip code each time. Butā€¦. If you select the color in the preferences of the vehicle, youā€™ll narrow your search greatly. When they start shipping more of these things. Itā€™ll likely take a few months to build up 2023 inventory.

Other option would be to have a reputable dealer you like or heard about on this forum and search for a vehicle for you. Go in tell them youā€™re serious, call or go online, get a MSRP deal agreed upon, and put down some cash as good faith. It should only take a few months. Modern Toyota in Winston Salem was the most honest and straight forward for me. Iā€™d definitely buy again from them. ā€œMomā€ was my salesperson (yes thatā€™s her name). Shipping will be around a buck a mile for covered and way less than most dealers want to charge over MSRP.
