Since Michelin and car manufacturers tend to tune tires for specific cars, I was wondering whether the aftermarket PS4S is better than OEM PSS (not aftermarket PSS).
There was an interview from a Michelin rep that said the OEM PSS for the Z51 C7 is better than the PS4S for track use.
I don’t daily drive my A90. It’s mainly my road trip fun car and I do HPDE events about twice a month; that said I don’t want to sacrifice road noise for performance.

How about the Falken FK510 tires. Reviews seem great.

The PS4s are not better than the PS5.

However I would choose the PS4S over pretty much any tire. Had great experiences with them on any car I’ve had them on.

If you're not really using it for much other than HPDE, I'd really just go for a 200TW and just put up with the noise. 200TW will be much better for track times.

I found the PS4S to be slightly grippier, but mine also run wider than the OEM PSS; I plan on going to some RT660s once this set of PS4Ses get worn down.

I’ve been tempted, but I don’t think the wife will like them on long road trips 😓

I've heard anecdotally the PS4S are louder and more firm than the OEM PSS, can't speak from personal experience. Check out the Yokohama Advan apex V601s. I believe someone else on the forum did a detailed write up and confirmed it provided a good balance between street drivability and occasional track use. Others can correct me but I believe the track rat preferred tires are either the Toyo Proxes or Falken Azenis. And sometimes RE71RS if you're feeling like a big spender :p.
